- My Year On PMC -
Well, what can I say. It's been a year! I signed up on PMC July 1st, 2012. Though my first submission was only 8 months ago, the four months before that I was still very much immersed in the atmosphere of the site. I had been primarily on the MC Forums for a long time, but after a high influx of people started spamming their threads to the point where I couldn't stand it much longer, I pretty much had to get out of here.
When I first heard about PMC, I thought it sounded awful. This was years ago, and all I was told was that people uploaded skins to it. I used it to get my skins from then on, but it never appealed to me as a site to participate fully in. All of that changed a year ago, when my friend showed me his adventure map, uploaded to this site, and it was getting comments and favorites.
I was shocked, I didn't know this side of PMC! There were levels too; the idea that you could be rewarded for how good your work is was an idea that appealed to me greatly. I finally made the decision to sign up myself, and it's been exceptional ever since! Features have been added that make the site even better. I've learned so many skills from my year here:
My blogging skill greatly improved, from this mess, to this success!
I started skinning, and got quite a reaction with this!
My projects, though much rarer now than when I first started, are of a higher quality!

As of writing this, I'm nearing Lvl. 24 and I have (almost) 60 subscribers who believe in the work I can do! I've grown to know so many people in this community, and it's really been an amazing experience. Thank you, PMC, for being so awesome. Seen you around!
