Hi guys, I am working on a mod that utilizes the use of clay and a new "furnace" called a kiln. The kiln only cooks clay and does it much faster than a furnace and the kiln uses "Heating Elements" which provide it for a full stack of clay to be smelted. Now thats not the only thing. I also am making it so that you can mold the clay into certain shapes and fire it in the kiln and get that shape in fired clay. Currently, I just finished making a brick mold where you put clay on a crafting table like this:

and you get six "Brick Molds".


The brick mold can be fired and made into bricks. Now you might be saying, "why not just put clay in a furnace?" Well, the kiln fires two times faster than a furnace and the heating element lasts much longer than anything you can put in a normal furnace. Plus you get six brick molds for the six clay that you put in, so it would be basically equivalent to the regular furnace's clay to bricks. Also I'm making it so that you can color the bricks that come out of the kiln so you can satisfy yourself with a orange brick house.
