One thing I can't stand, is when people say nintendo is for little kids, or that the games are not "hard core". While I'm prepared to argue that statement with anyone about any nintendo game. First of all, I'm almost 16 and I can't imagine gaming on consols other than nintendo, except for a few exceptions. Next I would like to point the above image. this is from the nintendo game the legend of zelda twilight princess. I don't care how tough a kid is, that is not fit for a kids game. 

Next I would like to state the difficulty of many nintendo games, mainly the 2D platforming mario games. The art style may look kiddie, however the gameplay, most of the time, is pretty hard. Have you ever taken the time to chalenge a nintendo game, you realize pretty soon into the game how hard it is, Especially in the original NES games. I dare you to beat the legend of zelda, or super mario bros. for the NES without a walkthrough. 

I would finally like to point out the purpose of nintendo games: to establish a fun, challenging, family friendly experience.

So go ahead, chalenge me in the comments. I WILL PROVE MY POINT.

Nintendo is a family company. They sell games that aren't gruesome like Microsoft and Sony sell.
This is your opinion, don't say that it is a FACT that Nintendo is not for kids. I like to play N64 and NES
because it's fun. I mean, anybody can play Mario Party or even Zelda, It's fun for all ages.
Pretty much anyone who can read and pays attention can play a Nintendo game. Whether on NES or Wii.

I don't care how "hardcore" some people say they are, true gamers don't play exclusively CoD, Halo, and Battlefield 3. True gamers accept a game regardless of platform, graphics or difficulty. Personally, I'm switching to PC gaming, because consoles always ends with debates as to which is better, when clearly PC gaming is superior. However, I regret leaving behind series I cherish, like the Legend of Zelda. That series has shaped my childhood and I'm considering getting a WiiU just so to not lose the games I love, always have loved, and always will love.

I love Nintendo games, because I don't like violent blood and cursing though, and I never will. 

but, i'm not the maturity, you know.
Most fans in america or even england, will like violent shooters, if you want Nintendo fans, try japan.

I just find it sad that the north American audience is not into a fun and challenging experience. I don't see why people like violently killing things so much

Kerbal Space Program.

SPORE.

LotRO.

What do all these games have in common? They are popular in North America, offer a fun, interesting, and challenging experience, and do not involve violent killing.

I am not saying those games aren't good. im saying most people in na are (sadly) fans of violent, M rated games
