Today we are going to work on a some what confusing redstone task,Gates.
First thing you need to know about gates is that they are for inverting and switching redstone signals.
The first gate we are going to talk about is a NOT gate.
This gate is a basic Inverter. the way it works is by taking the redstone signal, and just simply making it like an opposite light switch. when the lever is up (off) the signal is active. When the lever is down (off) the signal is off.
The next gate is a AND gate this gate works by making it so you need 2 levers to power the signal. When both levers are on, the system will work, when both are up or 1 is up, it wont work. this one is commonly used.
Those are the basic gates and how there used.
