Should some mods be in Minecraft?

Throughout my time of playing Minecraft, I have had lots of fun learning how to play and learning how to build. I have also come across many different, fun, and popular mods along the way. These include Equivalent Exchange, BuildCraft, RedPower, and many others.

THE ISSUE:
Many (not all) of the mods have unrealistic qualities which make them fun. The only non-realistic thing in Minecraft (I know it isnt like real life) is potions. Don't get me wrong, they were great additions. In my eyes, it would be difficult for the designers to implement these features into a game(such as things in Equivalent Exchange) that doesn't have many unrealistic things in it (for a game).

THE BRIGHT SIDE:
On the other hand, many other mods (such as BuildCraft) are very realistic because of the fact that many of the features in the mod exist in real life.(Machines, pipes, and more resources).

In the end, all mods I mentioned were very much liked by myself and many others. The thing is though, if all the great mods would be in real life (Equivalent Exchange) they would be overly unrealistic and would make it difficult to fit in the whole image of Minecraft (in my opinion). (Dont take anything the wrong way[again], I like all kinds of mods and would love for them to be implemented, but hey, the designers are only human. They cannot do everything everyone wants them to do.

Thanks for taking your time to read this! It's much appreciated!

Not to mention, it's not the difficulty of coding, it's the whole copyright thing, and keeping Minecraft's image.

There already is. Ender chests, I'm fairly sure tripwires, and plenty of other things, I'm sure, were already mods. However, please don't start another one of those "Minecraft realism" threads. Minecraft is NOT realistic, it's most popular symbol is a green rectangle.
