What you need:
2 pieces of redstone
1 sticky piston
1 button / lever
1 block of choice
Minecraft

How to make it:
Put 1 sticky piston down
Place your block of choice right in front of the sticky piston
Place a button on the block
Place redstone on the block
Place redstone on the other side of the block (Left or right, depends on what way the sticky piston is facing)
Press the button

The sticky piston will extend and remove:
The redstone
The button
