The Dark Island

The Dark Island ~Part 1~

Chapter 1

"The Island"

On this planet and yes, I mean Earth, in the depths of the fog in the distant sea lays a hidden Island, which has been forgotten by humans. What is on this Island is unknown to man but those who live there must put up with the horrors of the dark forest's. Monsters, they vary in shape and size however, they are all hostile to the men and women which live there. But it is not only human's which survive and thrive on this god-forsaken place, other beings do too. Demons, Elves, Incubi, Vampires, Everything which you would think of comes from this island. And yet us humans continue our everyday lives passing these creatures by as if they were fairy tales ignoring their existence. Though this island is awful, it continues to get worse and it is always dark there, yes you heard me it is always dark, that is one reason why the people who live there name it the "Dark Island" but while this island is evil and hostile, life comes through it, friendship, love and plants grow, the people have no clue what happens outside of their island, they just believe that this island is the only thing there in this world,many have tried to leave but none have completed this treacherous task.

Chapter 2

"The Demon of Skyloft"

As it was explained before, not only humans were on this island. However there were darker forces which were extremely powerful, they could control the shadows and bend them to their will, however some didnt even know they were one of them. His name was Levi, he was a young man who was coming into his teens, he always wore a hoodie, with black jeans and a pair of sneakers, he was considered fairly handsome but that didnt take the tormenting school bullies of him. Every single day they would be horrible to him and nothing would happen, he didnt have any friends. After years of this bullying he eventually snapped in a classroom, his dark energy caused a huge explosion and most of the class memebers were killed. Levi was banished from his hometown and was named "The Demon of Skyloft" nobody knows where he went. Some think he is a criminal mastermind planning to take over the island, some think he is hiding away from society but Levi will always be remembered, for all the wrong reason's.

Chapter 3

"The Succubus"

Levi was sitting a large leafless tree his silver eyes stared into the darkness he had been sitting there thinking for hours until finally he dozed into a sleep and began dreaming. A young girl with long pink hair sat reclining about above him smiling down at him as he slept hes cute... She thought to herself grinning, then she dropped down and landed on his chest "Wake up sleepy head" She said into his ear "U-ugh what are you doing..?" He stuttered as she leaned forward closer to him and suddenly in attempt to escape he fell out of the tree. The girl turned red as he feel and suddenly felt guilty "Im so sorry!" She called down to him and she dove off the tree letting her demonic wings come out. Levi stared up at her slightly frightened as he saw her wings, then he got up quickly and replied to her "Your a Succubus arent you? Stay back!"

She turned red and said "Yes I am... But its okay I wasnt trying to do any of 'that' stuff to you.."

"Why should I trust you?" Levi replied curiously, Sitri had no answer she just looked at the floor in shame.

"I have heard stories about your kind, I know that men shouldnt trust you.." Then as he was about to continue a huge roar erupted and the stomps came fast, then as the two turned a large monsterous bear came forward, it looked half eaten as if it had come back from the dead "Aaa-" The young Succubus screamed at the bear lifted a claw and smashed her into a tree. Quickly Levi responded by pulling out a large katana and in one swift slice the bear was in half. Levi simply looked down at Sitri's unconscious body and frowned "I have my katana... She cant hurt me..." He picked her up and began carrying her back away from the body into the forest to his home.

Chapter 4

"The House"

Levi continued across the dark forest stepping over sticks and logs he finally looked up at the huge treehouse, wood entwined like huge tendrils shooting up into the air. Levi quickly climbed up smiling happily as he was home, he lifted her up into the house and then stepped into the bedroom where he layed her on a bed and left the room to get some bandages. He later came back in and wrapped them carefully around her wounds then he waited for a while in hope to catch her while she woke up but she seemed to be in deep sleep, so he got up and went out hunting for some food. A few minutes later she opened her eyes and looked around the room, her wounds still ached but the pain was gone so she sat up and looked to the door "Hello?" The man had saved her and she didnt know his name but he took her in despite the fact that she was a demon, she had to thank him. "Hello, I know you dont know me but me name is Sitri" She said hoping for a response, she raised an eyebrow after a while and then she got out of the bed and walked into the living room hoping to see him there. He wasnt. Sitri frowned and then as she looked in another room suddenly Levi stepped into the treehouse.

"Hey!" He said

Sitri jumped up in surprise and then she turned "H-hi.. Um look, I know we got off in an, awkward start but could you forgive me for my indecent behaviour but also I dont know your name" Levi put the dead body of the animal on a desk and turned to look at her "Levi and its ok how you acted, just try not to do that again." Sitri nodded at Levi in agreement

"Why are you out here alone though, Levi?" She asked

Levi stood silent for a moment thinking about how to reply but then he decided it was best to tell the truth.

"Have you ever heard of the Demon of Skyloft?" It took a while for it to register in Sitri's brain but suddenly she stepped back slightly "Y-your..." She stared at him up at down amazed, shocked and frightened "Look you can leave if you want to, I would understand why..." Levi said to her looking down in shame.

"No.. I think it was wrong how people treated you, I would understand why you snapped like that, so I know it is wierd but do you mind if I stayed?" Sitri asked kindly smiling at him. His face lit up and Levi looked back at her "Yes, yes of course! You can stay in that bedroom I gave you, I'll get the food and everything, its just you dont know how long it has been since I had a friend" Sitri came forward and hugged him kindly and then she went to the bedroom to relax for a while, Levi turned back to the desk where the animal was thinking about what had just happened, he was ecstatic to hear that he was going to have a friend to talk to for once.

Meanwhile, a young man leaned out of his shack and looked up at the treehouse where he heard talking "There is another..?" He said quietly sitting back down "I must check out what is happening in there some time" but then he continued to sharpen his hunting blades.

Chapter 5

"The Elf"

A while later Sitri finished writing in her diary, she stood up and closed it before putting it in her desk "Levi?" She called "Yes Sitri?"

"Im gonna go, stretch my wings outside okay?"

"Yep!" and he continued to prepare the dinner. Sitri walked outside and let her wings out, she flew quickly up onto the top of the treehouse and she began catching the wind in her large wings, like sails on a ship. The man looked out of his shack again and he sneaked out and stood up straight looking up into the treehouse "Lets go find out what had happened" He said quietly to himself climbing up the side of the branches carefully. Suddenly why Sitri was sitting at the top she saw someone below her, she jumped down and glided until she landed behind him "Who are you?" She said defensively.

Shane lifted his hands slightly and said "Whoa calm down a bit, you scared me, Im Shane I was coming up here to see what was happening, I heard talking, I am an Elf by the way..." Sitri looked him up and down nervously and then she turned to look at Levi who came out and said "Dinner is ser- What the? Who is this!?" He stared at Shane surprised. "His name is Shane and he is an Elf."

"Hmmm.." Levi said looking the man up and down displeased. "Well, you havent told me your name yet"

"Okay, this is Sitri" Levi looked over and nodded at her "And my name is Levi, now please leave my property, I dont like strangers visiting." Shane looked at Levi and nodded then he turned and climbed back down and he decided to go for a walk to the beach. A while later he thought about Sitri, "She is like the succubus which killed my family.." He thought and as the feelings and memories came back to him something began vibrating in his pocket and he feel back and fell into a sleep on the cold, wet sand.

Chapter 6

"The Mistake"

While Sitri and Levi were out for a walk together, they were heading to the beach, they saw tracks, boot marks. Levi leaned over and looked down at them. "What are they?" Sitri asked tapping him on the shoulder.

"I dont know, they are roughly the size of a humans they might be Shanes?" He suggested

 "Okay then we can go have a look fro him at the beach, It looks like the trails lead that way anyway" and so the two of them made their way down to the beach where, after a while of searching saw a figure lying down. Sitri tried to call Levi but there was no response so she made her way to the body which she soon realized was Shane "Shane wake up! Are you okay Shane?" She said worried, she didnt know him very well but she still cared if they were in danger or not. Sitri was shaking Shane and he slowly opened her eyes to see Sitri leaning over him and suddenly he felt her hand touch his leg where a gem was inside his pocket "No!" He shouted as she grabbed it and stared at the glow emitting from its inside "What the-" and a huge rumble erupted from somewhere in the distance. The gem began to burn and Sitri dropped it in pain then as Levi came over "Whats going.... On..?" He said slowly dropping his Katana at the thing he saw coming out of the water, everyone froze slowly getting up staring at it.

"We have a problem..." Shane said staring at the huge monstorous rock golem covered in runes which was dripping with see water, its left hand a drill and its right a hammer and it was slowly turning its one large red eye towards them.

Chapter 7

"The Guardian"

The Golem stared directly at them, everyone was silent and then suddenly a huge thunderous drilling sound came and it began walking towards the three, it was walking however it was walking so fast, its huge feet took long steps making its way to the tiny people. "Run!" Yelled Levi, all of them turned and began sprinting down through the forest until Shane tripped and then Sitri stopped to help him but the large hammer came swiping through the trees just missing her. Thats when Shane got up and began running again, Levi was far ahead and when Shane and Sitri were about to call for him, suddenly the drill came down swooping through the floor launching the dirt into a 90 degree angel so that it curved up, all of them fell down and hit the floor with a loud thud only to be greeted by a large hammer which smashed the dirt apart. Sitri, Levi and Shane were sent flying through the undergrowth, Sitri was unconscious but she had no serious injury, Shanes leg was twisted but luckily not broken, however a muscle was ripped and Levi was lying down only hurt by the bump like Sitri, however he was awake. When he turned to help Shane up a large foot stepped infront of his hand "Sleep... It will all be over soon" The dark voice said and as Levi slowly closed his eyes Shanes shouts only echoed past his ears until he was in a deep sleep and Shanes yelling was cut out but a loud thumping noise followed by a wet splat.

Chapter 8

"Dark Descendents" (I had to use Amnesia for that :3)

Shane opened his eyes, blood dripped down his face. One hit from the man in black and he was out cold, surprised by the mans strength Shane tugged on the ropes which had him tied up. He cried out as the large bulging blisters where popped "I-its no use..." Sitri said sitting on a chair beside him, her wings were nailed into the walls "This man is nothing like I have ever seen.." She coughed up some blood then she looked at the bugs crawling around. A shout come from another room, it echoed from the halls into the two's ears "What was that?" Shane asked looking around rather nervous as there were many dark corners of the room "Its Levi.. It has been going on for hours.."

"But who is this guy..?!?" Shane yelled in anger but as he pulled on the ropes again a large spear came out of the shadows to his neck. Shane immediately froze as it pushed against him and he turned to look up at whatever had a spear to him and there stood a large golem, not as big as the last but nevertheless it was in a simular form, therefore it had been summoned by the same user. The spear withdrew back into the shadows and the Golem became a statue again. "We have to get out of here..." Shane said to Sitri slowly and quietly "... Yes, however I doubt a Succubus and a Elf will have much effect on stone golems.." Sitri replied calmly to Shane looking up at the frozen monsters. "But I know something they dont have..." He said looking directly at her wings, she smiled at him "Are you thinking what I am thinking..." The both turned and looked up at the nails which were covered in a dark liquid.

Chapter 9

"Saviour" 

The door came crashing down and the statues charged forward, however the large batlike wings pushed them back easily "Where to?" Sitri said to Shane flying out into the halls at break neck speed "I dunno, we need to-" The scream echoed again "-get to the screaming..." Sitri flew right where the sound echoed from, however there were two guards patrolling "I got these!" Shane said jumping into a roll he stabbed one in its gut, the horrible pig like monster squealed and dropped to the floor dead. Then as Shane retrieved his knife the other flew away down the hall screaming, however Shane grabbed the spear which was on the floor then he launched it into the back of the pig creature "Done..." Shane said "Come on Sitri lets go?" He turned confused as Sitri was gone. "Sitri?!" A girls scream echoed along with Levi's "Im coming!" Shane said, though as he made his way up the stairs two guards flanked him, then he turned to run but another four were infront of him "Dammnit!" He looked around pulling his daggers out, then Shane breathed in and breathed out calmly. Lets do this.

Chapter 10

"The Battle"

The arrows launched at Shane and he managed to narrowly dodge them, then to counter attack the bowman, he launched forward slicing the top of the bows of, making them undable to attack, so he finished them off extremely quickly. Next came the pikeman, it jabbed its large spear at Shanes stomach, yet again he dodged, however this time it scrapped his belly slightly pulling a small amount of skin from him to the floor. "Agh.." It dripped with blood slightly, as the pikeman came again Shane stamped the Spears end into the ground, now it was lodged hard and unmovealbe in the marble floor. Shane then kicked the spear back out and it hit the man in the face throwing him backwards to the wall where  the bricks fell down around the crash.

Shane then ran through the halls and saw the tortue chamber where they had Sitri "Let her go you sons of-" The club hit him around the face and then he fell down, though he closed his eyes and pretended he was knocked out, however when one of the monsters picked him up, he repelled backwards landing on the torture talbe where he proceeded to kick the tools at the demons eyes, then as the other attempted to whip him Shane jumped over the whip and landed on its face stabbing his daggers into its throat. Pulling one out Shane got up and watched the other fall to the floor in agony with the saws and scizzors in his face.

"Sitri are you okay?"

"I-Im fine.. Just, we need to save Levi.. They are trying to use his power to resurrect the ancient god of hate.." She whispered "Prepare for battle.."
