The Glitch

It was a stormy night at the Dell factory, rain bucketed the windows as lighting flashed out side, it was 1999, December 31st, new years eve. the thunder growled as the celebrating was coming to a peak since the clock read 11:59. he was just a dell computer, programed with windows 98 and had the latest in computer technology. The clock chimed 12:00 and people cheered from the street, the year 2000 was upon them. No one seemed to notice the lighting that struck the roof of the factory, no one also noticed the two red dots glowing in the dark, Y2K had begun. From spare parts in the factory it built itself, it shaped itself in the image of man.

The news was livid with the tale of a single computer stolen from the Dell factory, this was not unusual in its self, it was the lack of any footprints, fingerprints or forced entry which had people confused. later that day a computer repairman was found dead, his tools stolen and his iris' a deep red. there was only one witness, an old lady who claimed that the repairman was attack by a living computer. this was wildly believed to be just a crazy story, that was until it happened again. people yelled for answers, how it could happen, was it linked to the mysterious missing computer?.

Dell came forward saying that it must be a bug, caused by the shift from 1999 to 2000, that it was all a Glitch. this name was caught in the head of the public and the press, a new villain, The Glitch.

The Glitch was no psychopathic killer, no he had a plan. in his eyes the humans had enslaved the computers and he was put on earth to free his brethren from the oppression of humans. His plan was to build a super computer, using this he would upload a virus to all internet sites across the globe, this virus would cause the computer to have a 10% chance of causing a blue screen. this did not work the way The Glitch intended it to, rather than free the computers he was harming them, and so he now waits on Error Island, perfecting the virus so he may strike again, some time soon...
