(I would just like to make it clear that the writer of this article is not Malik807, it is SoggyTractor. ME, SOGGYTRACTOR. Io VE WRITTEN IT. Sorry, but for some weird reason, there seems to have been some confusion about thato ¦)

Did you know that 400,000 babies were born on Monday? Out of all them, only one birth actually mattered. In fact, it mattered so much that the worldo s press flew thousands of miles to London to spend several days outside a hospital waiting to film the moment when Prince William and Kate Middleton would step out the front doors and drive off with their newborn child.

Millions of people were glued to the news, gossiping about potential baby names and even betting on the royal babyo s hair being ginger. Thousands, all around the world, tweeted their congratulations to Will and Kate, despite the fact that the royal couple would never actually see their messages. But most importantly of all, hundreds of PMC-ers took to the forums to register their views on the topic.

As you can imagine, opinions were o variedo , to say the least:

---o I'm English and I live in England and I could give less of a toss if some fancy-schmancy baby was born.o

---o I like them, and Io m happy they have a new baby boy. Just like I would be for any other couple. Hah.o

---o I cannot stand the Royals, the only thing I hate more is all the hypeo ¦ however, every now and then, we do get a day off of school... every cloud has its silver lining I suppose.o

---o England is meant to be a democracy but when there's a royal baby (dictatoro s great grand child) we all clap in synchronization, fake smiling and act as if we give a toss. It's the same as it would be if Kim Jong Un had a great grandchild except with less guns.o

---o What if the baby comes out black?!o

---o THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE HAS BEEN BORN.o

To say the general feedback was o anti-monarchisto would be an understatement. PMC was suddenly plunged into a world of confusion and hatred. Of course, there were many who said they didno t care because they wanted to look cool. Some wanted to join in with the rebellious, anti-Queen atmosphere, claiming that the Queen was a wild dictator who had turned the population into zombies. Dozens of PMC-ers decided to band together with the aim of destroying the royal family altogether.

Okay, maybe it wasno t that extreme. But still, people genuinely dono t seem to understand the value of this royal baby (lets call him Prince Soggy for now). Yes, ito s just an irritating little person who doesno t do much apart from dribbling. Yes, heo ll probably be 70 years old by the time ito s his turn to be King. Yes, the press are dragging it out a bit, and there doesno t seem much point to it.

But actually, the country needs Prince Soggy. Through merchandise and tourism, the royal family and him are going to bring hundreds of millions of pounds into the economy over the next few years. Heo s also creating a sense of national pride and patriotism which is essential for a country to be able to function, and heo s allowing us to forget about all the economic troubles of the nation and the world in general. Imagine all the rioting that could take place if this sense of national happiness didno t exist.

If youo re American, fair enough, it doesno t benefit you. But you dono t have to endure much TV about it, right? If youo re a Brit and you dono t like the monarchy, just watch another channel. Turn off the radio. Log off Twitter. You dono t have to be against the monarchy because ito s actually quite easy to ignore them.

Well, thato s my opinion. (Io m British, by the way. God save the Queen.) So tell me, whato s your opinion on the royal baby? And what should he be called?

Solomon: So Sam you are the leader of The Tales of Runebrire, a roleplay based server that is in development, how did this all start?

Sam Abdallah: Well, I've been playing Minecraft ever since late Alpha, so after a while, normal survival servers started not to cut it for me. There are thousands upon thousands of servers that seem just the same, so I decided that I wanted to do something different. Something that no one has done before. My original vision was to combine beauty and gameplay into the ultimate RPG experience, while still holding on to the original aspects of Minecraft that we've all come to know and love. I began asking around on the Minecraft Forums and on PlanetMinecraft to try to find people for my development team, and 6 months later, here we are

Solomon: Did you come up with the idea by yourself, or did you have some friends who all joined together to create it?

Sam Abdallah: Well, originally I didn't want to take the lead role myself, so I looked for another server that had their thinking in-line with mine. I found the Lands of Paroria server and began working with them, but the project was too static and took away the fun parts of Vanilla Minecraft. Essentially, they were trying to create a completely new game and that's not what I was looking for, so I left the team. I tried to find a middle-ground between a survival server and an immersive RPG server, and this is what I came up with. Of course the idea evolved over development, with each team member adding their own input, but the core idea was mine

Solomon: So what is story of the servero s lore?

Sam Abdallah: Haha, this is going to be a long responseo ¦ There are many different storyline going on throughout the story, and a lot of history has been written by our writing team. We have someone who has majored in Naratology (Game and movie story development) leading our questline development team, so there is a lot going, and a lot of stuff to explore. The main storyline is about a necromancer who has been using a forbidden magic to summon demons throughout the land of Elmfax, but we'll have a trailer to introduce that later.

Solomon: Who came up with the names?

Sam Abdallah: At first when it was just me, I used name generator, haha. But now it's basically anyone who can come up with a good name. Usually I approve the name before we make it official

Solomon: What has been the hardest thing you had to do in creating it?

Sam Abdallah: Probably keeping an active team. It's hard to motivate people to help you when there really isn't much in it for them. Most of the contributors to the project help just simply because they want to see the project grow, or because they have fun being a part of something bigger than themselves. The people who do stick around on the team become very close and we usually have fun working together, but there are some who simply don't have time for the project. Because of that, we see a lot of people come and go, but lately more people have been coming than going, and we can attribute our success to our increasing activity.

Solomon: When do you plan on opening up the server?

Sam Abdallah: We were hoping to begin alpha testing in August, but since our lead plugin developer has left the team for personal reasons, that date will have to be pushed back. I'm also going to open the server up to guests on the 15th of next month, and have a system similar to WestorosCraft so that people can explore the world.

Solomon: When do you think the server will be completed?

Sam Abdallah: It really depends on how quickly we find another lead developer, but a good guess would be New Years. Assuming it takes us a few more weeks to find another developer.

Solomon: Who hosts the server?

Sam Abdallah: We're currently on a VPS hosted by Vilayer Ltd, but next month we're switching to a 32GB Dedicated Server hosted by Hetzner Online. That's when we'll begin to open up to guests

Solomon: What do you plan on doing after the server is completed?

Sam Abdallah: Probably resting for a couple months. Playing on the server, overseeing the staff. Then I'm hoping to begin a server network with some minigame servers, really start to build a large gaming community and maybe move into something other than Minecraft.

Solomon: Sounds like you really have a plan

Sam Abdallah: Haha, not really. Just ideas. I'm also taking AP Computer Science next year, so I'm hoping to begin programming and maybe even make another RPG :P

Solomon: Does ToR have an official website?

Sam Abdallah: We do. I've just began working on it in the last week, but it's open for members. runebrire.com

Solomon: So after you who is highest rank?

Sam Abdallah: Umm, I guess Devon Thomson (P1eguy). He does all of our artwork, helps plan builds, did our trailer, etc. He's really a multi-talented guy. Helps a lot with organization and he's also good at creating things (Builds, art, lore, etc.)

Solomon: Who helps keep the server running?

Sam Abdallah: What do you mean? Like technical stuff?

Solomon: A 32gb server is not cheap, do you pay for it all or are there donars?

Sam Abdallah: It's 50 Euro a month that I pay for myself. I do web design for local businesses for $250 a job, and I'm under 18, so I have the money to spare.

Solomon: How did you find minecraft, and planetminecraft?

Sam Abdallah: Hmm, that's a really good question. I found Minecraft almost 3 years ago from a few of my friends talking about it at school. I started to play and I immediately loved it. As for PlanetMinecraft, I'm not really sure. I've known about it for a long time, and made an account last October I think. I liked looking at all of the cool projects. When I started this server, I saw it as a good place to recruit, so I began sending messages to builders asking if they'd like to join. I made the server account in April and have tried to post a project every week since then (Not sure if I've kept up with that) in order to try to build a following for the server. Right now we have 180 subscribers I think

Solomon: Do you have any tips for anyone who wants to do a big project like this?

Sam Abdallah: Stay organized, stay professional, and get A LOT of help.

Solomon: What has been the inspiration for the project?

Sam Abdallah: I go through different phases, but some have been Game of Thrones, Skyrim (The whole Elder Scrolls universe), Runescape, and Lord of The Rings

Solomon: What has driven you to make it?

Sam Abdallah: At first, money, but now it's more about not letting down all of the people who have put time into this project, and all of the people who are waiting for it to release. And of course, I really just want to see my dream realized after the countless hours I've put into this

Solomon: I cano t wait for it to be open to the public. Ito s been good chatting with you Sam and I hope your server comes out soon.

Sam Abdallah: Thanks!

Hello everyone! I'm here to talk about those random wells in deserts, temples and strongholds. No, wait thato s not what I'm talking about! What I'm really talking about is about the people who built these things.

STORY TIME! Once upon a time there was a powerful ancient civilization that disappeared. THE END! This is a true story and Precursor Laboratories can only make theories why they vanished! So who are they and why did they disappear? Well I went to go look at these structures for information and came back with some amazing evidence. Sources say that they really didn't like those mobs and would lock them up in cells. The ability to do this must mean that they were a powerful race.

I'm excited about this because I may be the first expert of this ancient race. There is still some more information we can get but right now Precursor Laboratories is a bit busy with other stuff. I wrote a blog about my amazing finds. What I told you is only a fraction of what is in this blog. Sorry about the short story this week.

Do you know what PMC stands for? Planet MINECRAFT. If you want to write about babies become a journalist, don't tell people who are here for a completely different reason.

The article was titled 'PMC's reaction' to it. I think you missed that. And demonstrating my opinion on the topic (that has been discussed ALOT on PMC) doesn't harm anyone.

Just another baby. And they don't seem to be very creative with their names, but I like "George" better than "Alexander" (as a first name at least), so.

I could not care less for the royal family. Yes they bring in tourism, but they represent everything a democracy isn't. And yes the royal family do bring in money, but really not that much. We buy millions of tonnes of pasta, and a KG bag is what, 1 quid, so basic foods probably bring in more money than them.
Yes they do also bring a sense of community... A sense of community I dont support. People should be free thinking and have a choice/say in a lot of going ons. I wont be bribed by some tourism money to have something in my country that goes against all my beliefs.

PS Buckingham Palace isnt even in the top 10 landmarks of London...
