Today I have decided to tell you guys the REAL story of Herobrine. Everything you have heard until now is fake.
I would just like to mention that this is completely made up. some of it may be true though.
It all started one day when Notch was about 14 years old. This was the age young Markus Perrson decided to learn how to program in Java. At that same time is older brother Herobrine had been getting into some bad stuff. He got into trouble with cops (Swedish cops are the worst), got into drugs, stole, and even shot someone (the person is still alive).
How this factors in with anything is when Mrs. Perrson had the last straw.
"HEROBRINE WE ARE DONE! YOU MUST GET OUT OF HOUSE NOW!" After several minutes of arguing Notch finally told Herobrine to leave. So he did.
That night the Perrsons were woken up with an unexpected visit.
"Your son, Herobrine, has mysteriously disappeared in the woods."
"How did this happen?"
"We think this has something to do with drugs Mrs. Persson."
And to this day if you are walking in the woods, in the dark, dead silence, with the only light glaring from your computer screen, You may see Herobrine.
I've already said this, but I thought I would blow it up for you:

Hi,
This is an automatic reply because your email contained the word
"Herobrine". I receive quite a few emails about Herobrine, and can't
reply to them all manually.
Herobrine does not, and never has been part of Minecraft, nor do I
have a dead brother.
It's possible some mods might include a Herobrine character, and some
players might play tricks on other players to make then think they saw
Herobrine, but the story behind the character is not true in any way.

Fine. Herobrine is real, and he gains spooky vegeanance while haunting.
This is exactly as Notch said. Herobrine will forever remain a mystery, but Notch might be hiding something deep inside of him from all of us. And KJ_BuildingTeam he posted that he is real on twitter, not that he is fake.

Herobrine is a hoax made to troll people. Notch even said so on twitter.
