The Reason for hating: My Little Pony

Hello. Im gonna talk about (not rant) why some people hate Bronies or in general MLP: FiM. I will start by saying that i am not a bronie nor do i hate the show, so i am completely neutral.


So lets begin shall we?


We know that many people hate MLP and Bronies because of the fact that many think its a "girl show" and its "gay" to watch it. I am gonna come with some reasons why people think that:


1: The Title: One of the reason people think its girly is because of the title. "My Little Pony" sounds rather girly and i for once get some strange girl show about a girl and her horse in mind. Even though the show is not about that, many people judge the book by its cover or the show by its title.


2: The Theme: Many people judge the show by its theme. The fact that alot of it is pink (which many think is girly) , the start intro (song thing at the start) also is very girly type, the fact that the protagonists is all girls and again the title makes many believe that its a very girly show. 


3: What its based on: I think this is a really big reason for the hating: The fact that MLP: FiM is based on a little girls toy. When u look at a show based on a little girl toy, you will easly believe that the show is a girl show. Many people also know that many shows is girly if its based on a girl toy. Take Barbie ect. Thats a girl toy: The show is a girl movie. 


4: Conclusion: This is not a reason, but more of a conclusion of the statements above. 


People hate/dont like Bronies and MLP because of Title, Theme and What its based on. If u only look at these 3 things and ignore the content of the show, then yes: It is girly. But if u take a look at the actual show u will see that it is not that girly after all. But, as every hater in the world does, haters of MLP dont look at the content and like to judge it by everything that is girly and ignore what is not girly. 


Overall this "war" is just like every other "internet type" war. Take Gmail vs. Hotmail, PS3 vs. Xbox, Windows vs. Mac: All the same. Every side looks at the bad part of the other side and completely ignore the good part.
