Before I start I would like to say that this will not be just another Herobrine rip, I have plenty in store for this story and assuming that I find the determination to continue writing I believe that you will all be happy. This is going to be one of my first uploads (technically my second) and I hope that you will all tell me what you liked or didn't like that way I can make my next parts as good as possible. I am trying to relate this to MineCraft (obviously) without it taking place in MineCraft (hence the Ziploc bag and such). I am an amateur author so I hope you all will help me improve and enjoy!

I awoke in a strange area, there was grass everywhere around me with an occasionial tree or rolling hill. A small water pool was off in the distance. I was never one to freak out, so I slowly made my way towards the water pool. Obviously I was in a place where there wasn't any civilization within at least a couple miles so I figured I might as well prepare for the worst. I took a few drinks by scooping the water into my fingers. The cool liquid seeped through my bowl shaped hands, allowing me only a few drops everytime I went for more water.

Something caught my eye, there at the bottom of the pool was an old chest. Nothing special about, about a three foot cubes with a simple metal latch. I couldn't see any kind of lock or keyhole on it so I assumed that the trunk was unlocked.

I looked down at the turqouise shirt and worn jeans I had on, I realized that I didn't remember anything from the night before or how I had gotten these clothes on in the first place. I decided it didn't matter and decided that getting them wet wouldn't hurt anybody so I dove into the pool.

The water wasn't ice cold, but it certainly wasn't balmy. It felt more like swimming at the pool than anything. The thing that I noticed is that the water was unnaturally clear and didn't have any fish, bugs or any kind of animals at all in it. Running out of air I swam down to the chest (which was only about six feet down.)

My assumption about the chest being unlock proved to be true and I opened the heavy oaken lid. Inside was a gallon sized, Ziploc bag. Running out of air as it was I swam up to the surface to investigate the contents of the bag. The zipper undid cleanly and it didn't seem any water made it into the bag.

Inside was a piece of paper that was neatly folded eight times. I carefully unfolded the paper and read the message. The message certainly didn't make any sense to me, so as I used to do in school whenever something confused me I said it aloud. My eyes rolled across the neat, perfect handwriting as I read what the note said "You don't know what you've done."

The note was absolutely right, I had no idea what I had done, either the night before or if I had done something by opening that chest, or if the note was even directed at me. Either way someone had to have placed that chest there, and that meant someone was nearby.

I looked up to see that it had become extremely foggy. I had no time to question the strange weather however because right at that moment I saw a figure staring at me from the fog. I froze dead. He looked exactly like me, plain turqoiuse shirt, same worn jeans, identical facial structure. Blank white eyes peered from the stranger's eye sockets however. Pure, milky canvases identifying the entire plane of existence at once. Eyes that could peer into one's identity, soul, and spirit. The slightest grin crossed the strangers face... and then he was gone.

Chills raced up my arms. I knew that stranger was the one who had placed that message there, even if I had no proof. I also knew that that stranger was NOT human. No human can disappear, have that perfect of handwriting, and most of all, be able to stare into someone that completely without even having pupils to stare at you with.
I headed off in that direction, I had nowhere else to go and I figured I might as well satiate my curiosity. There was a perfect pyramid formed right across from the hill that the stranger appeared. The stone was covered in moss and lit by torches that appeared to have a strange, unflickering, red flame.

The entrance to the pyramid was roughly three feet wide and six feet tall, just barely tall enough for me to walk through without having to crouch. The sun was setting behind me and I was growing more and more uncertain that this was a bad decision as I decended into the tunnel.
