TIPS ON #1: how to get accepted as staff.

Hello, if you are reading this blog it is because you obviously don't know how to apply proply for staff, if not then I have no idea why you are here.
Sorry little kiddies
Now lets get started. Firstly, if you are in the 'kids zone' which is all the younger people, (like 9,10,11 sometimes 12) accept the fact that many people don't want someone of that age going around their server which such great perms, and also you will not get away with answering a "age:" or "maturity:" question doing this [age] but im very mature, They probly don't care if you more mature than a office man, it is simply the fact that you don't have the brains yet to relise what to do in some situations, and being young and knowing my brother when things get tough you run away and cry.
If you are new to minecraft
So if you are new to minecraft don't worry Its better than being in what I call the 'kids zone'. Now you must understand by new to minecraft I mean, getting into the stage where you aren't an amazing builder, but your good, and you aren't and amazing redstoner but good, and you know about the end and how to get there legit, now get TMI and spawning end portals.
Now when you get to this stage you should know most commands, and you should start learning admin commands, you can do this by searching it or making your own server and OP yourself (pretty bad idea because you need to learn about plugins) <--- In those brackets bring up my second point, learn what plugins are, often you might get a question like "how many plugins do you know" or "do you know many plugins and commands are" and you don't want to answer "what are plugins?" you will sound like and idiot and you will be denied.
Geting denied
Now firstly, don't rage when you get denied and decided to try ruin the owners life, this is when you must relise that there are millions of servers out there and if you just wait and hour or so, there will be another thread on PMC asking for help. This is probly the hardest part, especially when you wrote a lot, also having to wait, only to get denied.
Just don't lie
The title says for its self, don't lie about age, experience or anything, some people say they have been admin 8, 9, 10 once I even say 50 times, like how could you even keep track of that, and if you say you have been staff so many times, you must have got de-ranked or something, If that if true, don't say you have been admin 10 times, just answer it something like this "experience: Well I have played minecraft for [time playing minecraft] and if you where to put and my time as admin together I have been suppling servers with my skill for [e.g] 9 months" see I didn't have to lie. So when I say don't lie I really mean, dont say everything, but there are still limits to that. By that I mean don't miss out on something that the owner must know or if he finds out you will be denied/de-ranked.
No skype? No mic?
Well requesting for you skype is in most apps these days and a lot of people say they don't have skype, now if you 13-28, you have skype, I know that from my experience, I am on skype all the time, and if you don't have it, get it, a lot of the time the owner won't even talk to you, just msg. and if you say you don't have skype and your over 13 or even 14 you are most probably telling a lie, and are hiding the truth about your age * cough*Many 9, 10, 11, 12 year olds *cough*
Now people as often answer I have no mic, firstly, pretty much ALL computers have mics now, so you are either living in the 90s or you are poor if you don't have a mic, also goes to back to hiding your age
Bad Application Example
now this app is going to be as if the owner whats to stalk you. Now for role, Im going to be a 10 year old boy named john with a mic and skype, and has never been staff(I know that I have been putting a lot on kids but I just want them to be aware)

Age: 17
Gender: im a boy
skype: yes but i have no mic
experience: ive been admin 10 and mod 20 and developer 5
Bit about yourself: im a great person and everyone likes me i spend alot of time on minecraft n i am cool builder

name plugins that your good at: x-ray.
can you use world edit: nope
anything else: YES... Im awesome
Now you see what I mean. The name and IGN is fine, but I lied for the age, I said I was a 10 yr. boy named john at the start when filling out the gender section I said "im a boy" now you may think thats fine, but if the owner is smart, it shows a lack of intelligence with out a capital letter and not using Male, so you should just say "Male". With skype, I said I don't have a mic, thats because I don't wanna talk as im only 10 when stated im 17. Experience, I did not say how long I played minecraft which you should add (doesn't have to been in the experience part, but even the about yourself section) and what are the chance of the amount of times I've been staff all being 'checkpoint' numbers (they are numbers like 1,5,10,12,15,20,50,100, etc) if I had of been staff that many times before you should convert the it into time, like stated up top but I LIED and said I have been. A bit about yourself makes 'john' look like a luvo. Can you use world edit, people do reply yes, and why is that bad you ask? Well you should tell it more detail, how well do you know the plugins, etc. How long can you play minecraft, thats just stupid, seriously he john doesn't shower or eat diner or if he is '17' spend time with his girlfriend or friend. Ok so moving on to, Name plugins that your good at, ok lets keep moving doesn't even have to been explained, next is can you use world edit, thats I must, If you can't then youtube it. Now with the anything else, that dosen't mean talk about whether or not your awesome, it means talk about any questions or concerns you have. Overall this is horrible, as bad as it comes, firstly no 17 year old would type like that, I have a boyfriend who is 17 I text him all night, I know how they talk.
How to make a good application
Well, its real simple, just follow everything a said about and here is a bunch of tips that could help:
- make it look pretty
- make it so its in sync with your personality
- make it appealing and easy to spot (this will make the owner look at it, and if there are many applying, you can find yours because its the most appealing
- Drag on your application, say the same things is a completely different way
so following all these you will come up with what follows.
Good application Example
Now Ima show you an example of a good staff application, I am going to role play myself <--- lol wut?

experience: I myself have played minecraft for 2 years and I have been admin for 3 times moderator 4 and developer 2. So over all I have been using my great ability to help servers for around 9 months
Bit about yourself: Well I'm a 16 year old girl, who is fun loving and genrally nice to every one, I spend a lot of time on minecraft helping people. I work a McDonalds and a spend a lot of time with my boyfriend, I love just kick back and enjoying what every life brings, as I am patient and tolerant
how long can you play minecraft: Well if im not, at school, Sleeping, playing x-box, Working, spending time with family/boyfriend/friends doing homework or doing something around the house im usually im on minecraft. So I usually get around 1-7 hours of minecraft gameplay in per day.
Name Some plugins that you are good at: Well I now most common one, and some that aren't so common but really help, which you could use for the server, they are: Essentials, WorldEdit, WorldGuard, GroupManager, PermissionsEX, Iconomy, mcmmo, factions, towny, npcX, citizen, ChestShop, SignShop, HeroChat, BigBrother(Great plugin, you should use it), jail and finally modreq. I may know more but these are the ones I can think of at the moment.
can you use world edit: Yes, I can use world edit quite well, I know most commands, and can use it smartly
anything else: No, I don't have anymore to say
