So my big idea for Minecraft is to be able to upgrade your tools and weapons. Adding enchanting to Minecraft added a whole new aspect to the game and now with the addition of anvils and repairing tools the game is better than ever (just my opinion).

HOW IT WOULD WORK
The idea would work by placing a tool (E.g. Iron Pickaxe) in a Crafting Table with another material (In this case, Iron Ingot) and the output would give you a level 2 Iron Pickaxe. This pickaxe would have more uses and do more damage/break blocks faster than the original tool. You could then do this again to gain a level 3 tool. However, If it were up to me I would make level 3 the maximum level.

WHY IT WOULD WORK
As I mentioned above, enchanting and repairing tools was a great addition to the game that is Minecraft. This would add another proceed to improve your tools.

PROS AND CONS
Pros:

• Break blocks faster
  
• Do more damage
  
• More uses for tools
  
• More stuff to craft
  
• More reasons to collect ingots
  
• Would be reasonably easy to make
  

Cons:

• Would fill up creative inventory with identical items
