What I Think A Minecraft Hunger Games Server Should Consist Of

When I look at the Hunger Games Servers, all I see is simply a big arena where people are dying to get into and kill each other. What about the actual HG? Did no one read the books, and realize how the Hunger Games were meant to be a horrible event, something that all of Panem were dreading. Here are my ideas on how to improve the Hunger Game Server experience.

1)The Capitol
The Capitol needs to be brilliant. You need to have great builders who put in an extreme amount of time to make stuff that is extremely decorative, large and beautiful to look at. It has to have some of the best architecture in the Server, and needs to be populated by a small number of players. It requires a large amount of shops and incredible Plugin use. It is essentially, the main part. 

2)Spawning And Ranks
Everyone should spawn at a location where a board of District Names are presented. People may choose their own District, depending on how many people are in each. When they choose their District, that is their District. There is no way to take it back and change. Players shall be teleported to their District immediately upon selecting their District. Your Rank is basically your District. If your in District 4, your name 4 looks like:[District_4]ExampleDude

3)District Presentation
The Districts (apart from Career Districts) should have bad architecture and really ugly looks. It has to represent the books, and there should be no easy way to escape the fences. There should always be a little hole for players to escape and gather items, though it must be small and very hard to find. Shops shall be placed in Districts, though they should be AI controlled and all profits go to the small number of players in the Capitol. 

4)The Actual HG Event
When the Hunger Games reaping takes place, 2 players are randomly chosen from the crowd. They will enter the Hunger Games arena within 10 minutes and they shall participate. The HG shall be broadcasted using T.V and Computer Plugins and all District players should watch. Every house that is made will be givin' a T.V upon request that can view the Hunger Games. The Plugin makes it so cameras are set up all over the arena, and they are impossible to escape due to the amount. The GameMakers are the Admins and make the gameplay exciting. Upon death, players are banned. This seems a bit excessive, but really gets you feeling like your character has actually died. It makes it mean something more then just dying and continuing on in game.

This is genius. But I would kick them instead of banning so then players could play again if they wanted to.

Kicking sounds better, but how long would you kick them? If they can come back immediately, it sort of ruins the purpose.

OMG. This is exactly what me and my friends were thinking. We built a couple districts, but we don't really have good builders. This is a idea I think is really good. You should go through with it. You could get popular.

Contact the creator of the Plugin. He should give you some information on what to do. I'm not really great with the actual Plugin, unfortunately.

The Plugin creator depends on which one your using. You can generally find Plugin Creators on the plugins Bukkit page, if your getting it off Bukkit. There are so many HG plugins that I can't say 1 specifically.
