Hello everybody!
this is my first blog and it's about that 1 thing that almost everyone is thinking about:
what is happening to minecraft?
Well..... with that i mean that alot of people are complaining about all the updates and that it isnt being minecraft anymore. This is for a bit true because for all the Alpha players of minecraft they knew the game as a giant world with just some blocks and endless creativity. But now a days minecraft has grown to mutch more with all the updates. But the big question is: is this a good thing or not?
Now everyone has there own opinion about this subject but i think this is something important. Is notch ruining his own game? with all the new stuff added more and more people are playing not for the creativity ( what it was supposed to be about) but for the goals and the end and other stuff...
minecraft has grown to sutch a big thing that it maybe even destroyed his old version of it. People say that it isnt the good old minecraft they used to know. Long ago minecraft was just a mutch easier game. But now you need to watch your hunger. People think that that is not necassery and that stuff like that, just more stuff is to make the game look more epic. And if you now want to beat the game you need to fight and kill the enderdragon. but isnt that the thing that minecraft was all about? That you couldnt beat the game itself? These things make it like a whole new game( yogscast reference) and maybe people want there old minecraft back!
Now there are some other things that are quite disturbing: the minecraft edition for the Xbox and even a pocket edition! these things are the proove of what minecraft has become. A game that just wants more and more people. Afcourse, it supports mojang, they get more money, so they can make more epic stuff but if there is 1 thing that most of the people hate, then it is a pocket edition of some or another game.
Well that was something i just wanted to point out... I know that also alot of people dont think that all the updates are destroying minecraft but it keeps a thing that has to been noticed.
i hope you liked this blog and feedback is always welcome.. Oh and 1 thing i wanted to point out aswell: i do not personally think that the updates are destroying minecraft. I think they make the game bigger and more noticable. But alot of people were complaining about this subject so i made this :P

I do not remember ever playing creatively with this game at all unless it was at a most recent date (like when creative mode was officially added). I'm an alpha user and I remember the days when Minecraft was possibly only known by 4chan's /v/ among a few other chan websites. All they wanted and perhaps still do was more features for exploring and survival mode.
Was Minecraft really suppose to be that Lego simulator that everyone calls it?
Note: I joined the phenomenon around alpha phase so I never got to play indev of infdev.
NOTE: i agree with you.. its not my opinion that its destroying the game. not at all! i just wanted to point this out
One thing I did like about it was limited worlds meaning that sooner or later, resources would run out forcing you to use more renewable ones.
But I didn't play much because the textures looked like puke compared to now and I got bored. :
