Hello girls and boys! It's Wednesday and you know what that means...a rant! Today's rant is something I hold near and dear to my heart. This has been bothering me for the past couple months.

Ok so close your eyes. Pretend you are on a server playing on a remote desert Island and a 6 year old pops! Now open your eyes. Yeah we've all been there. Someone not mature enough to go on multiplayer servers and actually play the game is was meant to be played.

On my server GhastCraft, we have one 6 year old who plays. He's only been annoying once, when he thought what he was building was amazing. He asked me to protect so I looked at it and I'm like "Holy s***!" It was just a bunch of blocks. He was covering up spawn and the spawn road. It wasn't cool. I told him to clean it up.

Another time on another server (I forget the name) A nine year old came on. It was a factions server and he asked if he could join. I thought why not? I wasn't mod of the faction so I couldn't invite him. The owner of our faction said now and the nine year old started flipping out! He found our base and then someone left the door open and the nine year old promptly walked in. He set his home as our spawn. Then people tried to kill him but he got one kill on us and eventually started spawn killing us.

So I have had some bad experiences with people under the age of 12. This weeks challenge: In the comments below tell a story about someone under the age of 12 joining a server. Challenge accepted :~). So yes. My wisdom votes for that people 12 and up can play on multiplayer servers. What do you think? Don't forget to comment, diamond, subscribe, and enjoy.

For future commenters and whoever else I have something to say. I'm disputing people under of age of 12's rights to play Minecraft. I should of titled this "What is the correct age for Minecraft Multiplayer?". If you noticed I even directed my writing towards servers. Thank you, and happy posting.

To all who have posted saying that they aren't like little kids:
Whining and complaining on here just proves that you are like my blog says. Also this topic is over. Please don't comment.

I wouldn't say 12 or older but 10. also, this blog isn't too bad. and sometimes kids can be wierd, like the 6yr old and the one that is 9, but other than that, some are fine/cool to play with. when i was 9, i knew how to run my own server, add plugins, etc. so what i am trying to say is most kids under 10 are like those kids (but not all!)

I'm ten. Tpday, I was on a server and I told a story about a six grader who still believed in Santa. Another kid on the server said "m 10 and people can believe what they want" "im telling my daddy" I'm just like, I'm ten and I don't believe in Santa. Plus I don't say daddy anymore..

I Totally agree,I joined a server known as NukeUsa. I nearly Passed out when i found out one of the admins was 8,I was even more surprised & shocked that he lied and said hes 14

Why should you be shocked? If he told the truth, 90% of the community would treat him like the dirt under their nail.

First, make the server whitelist only. Instead of having an "Age" thingy on a whitelist application form, there could be a "Previous Bans? If So, How Many?" thingy on the application form. Then if they had more than one ban, they would not be whitelisted.-

Not agreed. Age doesn't always matter in terms of maturity. Mr friends started play minecraft at the age of 10 and they leave good experiences on people. There are cases that students of 20 are not even as mature as a 10 year old.

I have a friend who is 10, and she can be either a thorn in somebody's side, or one of the most creative builders I have met. She plays on GamplayerHD and people insult her for being "an annoying 10 year old" and sometimes I feel they are being more annoying than her. People try consistently to exclude her from things as well because of her age. It seems at the end of the day your experience, maturity, and how you act really effect if you should be on servers or not though.

Some little kids can be annoying as 400 ghasts in your spawn city, but some can actually be fun to have on the server.

My little sister, six at the time, joined a server I'm OP on. She asked for some blocks to get her started (some wood, a set of stone tools, a furnace, etc.) so I asked the owner and he had no problem with it. After two months of her being on every day, I went to see where she lived (way away from spawn, in the forest). She built a giant castle out of pink and light blue wool. She had a few people living in it, not knowing she was six. When they found that out, they burned her castle down. She was angry, and greifed spawn, then blamed it on me (sisterly love, eh?). We both got banned from the server, but it was her right to be mad. I was mad, too. I played on that server for almost a year, and was one of 12 OP's that help run the server.

After everything was explained, we both got back on, and helped clean up spawn, and the owner even let me spawn in more wool, and helped us rebuilt the castle, then he protected it, leaving only me, my sister, and the owners with permission to edit it. The server shut down, because of the next story.

A 10 year old kid (legit, we had a server mod for mics, don't remember what it was, though) comes on claiming to be a PMC staff. The server isn't even on PMC, so we trolled with him a bit. When we didn't give him OP, he used some hacking client and spawned at least 70,000 chickens in spawn city, causing the server to crash every time the chunks were loaded. We had to delete the server, and he didn't feel like making a new one. Goodbye, 18Craft.

No, it isn't. It is a KNOWN FACT that the older you are, the more developed your brain is, until around the age of 25, and whilst, of course, there CAN be exceptions to this, such as mature younger people, that does not make it irrelevant.
Edit Reply Delete
Yes it is. If you're seven, you can choose how you act. If you drop your toy, you can CHOOSE, do I start crying, or do I pick it up? If I die on Minecraft, do I greif everybody elses house out of rage, or do I carry on? Age is just a number. Maturity is a choice.

Yes, but when you're younger, it's harder to make good choices.
Edit Reply Delete
Yes, it's harder, but my point is, it's not impossible. Ok, so I just read my earlier comments, and realized, yes it is relevant, but maturity does not depend entirely on age. Besides, once you're 10, you are deemed responsible for your actions, and you should know right from wrong. Therefore, the age limit, if there is to be one, 10+.

Honestly, I think 12+ is a good age. Much of the content in MC actually should be rated E10+ anyways (Violence, blood and gore [in some packs], horror themes, etc). As a general rule of thumb, going on a popular server almost always means whiny ten year olds.
Now, I'm not saying all 12- users are immature; but a huge amount of them are.
As a poster below mentioned, it's the maturity that counts. Not the age.

No age limit for minecraft. That would suck. Better Idea:
You specify your age when creating a account. Different servers will have age limits that you can choose.
Goodbye end of story, the end. Any questions?

IVE GOT A STORY. When i first joined this server i play on i was made admin along with someone else(who we found out was 10 later). Im now co owner their after a year of helping everyone. This other admin just made me look better because of his stupidity. He lightening spammed to kill people and destroy their items, thought he was in love with someone, is insecure of his masculinity, and called people bad names(probably did not even know what they meant), and of course kept saying no homo, which doesnt meen not gay IT MEANS NOT SAME.
