For some people, such as myself, we just don't like being an admin on a server. I host servers all the time for my friends, and it gets very stressful. At the top is head admin/ server owner (me 90% of the time), who has his friends constantly asking " Can you put your server up, can you put your server up?" It gets sickening, and then when you have small kids playing, they always get into and argument and you ( head admin) have to sort it out, or suffer through it on the minecraft chat or the skype call you are on, which, in truth, never happens. Once this happens often enough, you start to leave your friends to their own devices, and go on a server someone else hosts.
This can be even worse. The "admins" are either trying to deal with something that isn't even there, when you have a problem much bigger. Then when you get into an argument over someone being a jerk. The so called "super-admin" then gets annoyed. He then says you can not argue when he is on, therefor taking away your right of speech. Then it just gets ugly and you get a 12 hr ban, and go write a blog post about it (like me), just because, you want to say, that you really don't give a S*** about being banned because you never even got that far in the first place.
This is when you decide to go on another server. This time, the admins are abusive, but not that badly at first. So you start working on a mansion, on survival. Occasionally the admins will teleport to you and kill your for a good laugh. So you finally finish after 20 total hours into the mansion. You go to bed and wake up and come on to see, that, well, the only part of your mansion that is left is the stone. You start to ask your friends what happened, and they all say the same thing. The owner did it. See, when an owner of a server is abusive of his powers, especially when the players on are some of his first, his admins think that it is OK to be abusive.
I have had WAY too many of these experiences, and I don't like hosting a server because it gets way too stressful. I think we need to make admins as scripts. Completely take the human element out. So if somebody steals an item from somebody else, they get it fair and square, the person who lost something can't get it back, because PVP is part of the game. You can always get revenge by returning the favor (not a good idea in real life). If you lose an item because you glitched, too bad, it is just a game.
Basically my story is, I hate being an admin, and i hate admins. This is my first post, so please don't hate. Give constructive criticism PLEASE.
