Obviously, since this is art, this won't be much of a blog post. However, I will ask a few questions for the average crafter (Or anyone who has played 1.3.1!). My first question is, what is the biggest feature you dislike about the new update? My second question is, what features should have been added? Lastly, what blocks should be added or removed to the game? I, personally will answer the questions below:
1.) I dislike that many servers that use bukkit, like almost all do, has not updated. This disallows me to join servers that run 1.2.5.( Almost all servers are running 1.2.5). Also I dislike that ender chests can not be set to a certain channel. For instance, if  it was set my way, you could have different  inventories when set to different channels.(This would probably lead to many glitches though.)
2.) I think that many World Edit commands should be introduced to single-player. such as, the actual world edit abilities (With the wand/wooden ax), shape commands (Sphere, Pyramid) and an extra button in the single player create world menu to activate such commands. Also some essentials commands should be added such as, /ban in LAN worlds, /kill [player] in LAN worlds, /killall in single player and LAN worlds, /enchant in single player and LAN worlds. Another button to be added in the menu should be the allowing of inverting logs and other stuff. 
3.) I think that book and quilts should be editable by the author and to anyone who the author has given permission(with a command). Since I am not very good with creating new ideas for blocks.

Bukkit is good actually..... it is a easier setup than hamachi and it allows you to manage plugins (server mods) without putting them in the server minecraft.jar.

I like 2 and 3, and the art is nice.

I think they should have made the pigman a mob by now... it could be just like a villager, only the trading is a little different.
