Hello!
This is my first ever tutorial blog, so this might be a little awkward and/or derpy. It is about making good looking hills in the program WorldPainter. And not just little bumps in the terrain, but big hills.

OK, so we're going to use the pyramid tool for this. It is the least natural looking tool in the whole program, but trust me, it'll look good in the end.

Select the normal (not rotated) pyramid and use it to plan out the general shape of your hill.

Then keep adding more pyramids, until you end up with something like this:

When you have done this, select the rotated pyramid tool.

Integrate a ton of these in to your hill until you get something like this:

Now, pick a nice (custom) brush and gently tap it with the flatten tool here and there.

Just keep messing around with the flatten and raise/lower tools until you get a natural shape like this:

You can also use the default cracks brush or something similar for little cracks and erosion-like effects in the hill. I didn't do it here, but I advise trying it out.

Then, turn all the sandstone into grass.

Finally, make everything above an angle of your choice (I just use the standard 45°) a stone material. I'm using a custom rock material that I made earlier.

Then it should look like this:

That was it! There are probably faster ways to get a similar effect, but I like this. I hope this was helpful for someone out there. Have a nice day!
