Chapter 5:
When Annie peeked around the bush there was an exchange of greetings and then the thing ran. I suppose it was a mob and thought she was a mob as well until she talked. We found it in a tree. It was a teenager, very pale, and very thin. "Hello!" I called, "What are you doing up there?" "Hiding from the human," He said flatly. "Oh that's all?" I asked. "Mhm." He replied. "Y'know she's not that bad." I called. He dropped down and surveyed her for a couple minutes. "Whatever." He said finally. "What's your name?" asked Ella. "My name is Davon." He said to her. "Ach!" Annie said. "What?!" I asked. Then I knew. Beacause Davon screamed, "AH! The sun!" Annie tossed us both a helmet. The sun was rising.
