Adding content with schematics.

I was using world edit to save some of the stuff as schematics but then when i tried to upload it, it said that that format is not supported and the format is .schematics. ideas?

You will have to compress the schematic file into .zip format. You can do this by right clicking the file and pressing 'Send to' > 'Compressed (Zipped) Folder'. Here's an image example:
