I have yet to complete this but I was wondering what else I can do to this home to further detail it, other than adding trees and stuff on the outside.

Thanks for all the suggestions! Here are some updated screenshots with the suggestions and overall progress added to it! (With shaders because it's looking really good).

Any triangle roof is a very iffy thing for me; I suggest changing it up a bit. Also, palette could use a little work; the cobblestone clashes a bit too much with the birch/log. I suggest using WorldEdit and trying out a couple of other palettes, if all else fails, you'll still have your original palette.

Finally, stairs. For me, stairs can make or break your build. In this case, it could make your build better if you used the stairs as indentions in your birch walls. It gives it more depth and in some cases, shading towards what you're building. The best of both worlds if I say so myself.

Overall, it's an excellent start, 7/10; keep building!

Try experimenting around and replacing the cobble for stone bricks, use a mix of cracked, mossy and standard. Adding a few chiseled brick into a vertical pillar also could help. With the roof, you could also try adding patterns or noise using oak planks to give it that more unstable roofy feel. buttons also can add some depth to build so fiddle around with that and see.
