For the first time, using BattlePerks, players will earn prizes just for being skilled gamers. BattlePerks is a gaming ladders site that ranks players according to their skill worldwide, and enables them to enter tournaments for points. Gamers can play on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC while competing in popular titles like Call of Duty and Halo 4. With the points they earn in these tournaments, players can redeem high-value prizes in the BattleStore. Points can be earned by shopping with partner sites, completing free offers, or winning matches. Players can also earn points by referring friends. Previously, gamers had to purchase credits with money and use those credits to buy into tournaments. BattlePerks is changing that by rewarding gamers for purchases they are already making.
