Shapeshifts: Lioness, Barn owl and Ferret.
Backstory:
Mai lived out of town most of her life, growing up she was lonely, but she didnt mind. Mai would amuse herself by taking care of her pets and playing with her sister. Then, her father got a job promotion when she was only in her second year of highschool. She was sent to a few, but didnt like them. It didnt feel right going there. But, she went only to top highschools, as her parents wanted. Untill she went to one school that wasnt for smart kids, or rich kids, for a change. It was just, normal. Something in her gut told her this was the right place. She begged her parents to let her stay, and the teacher that toured them around the school had a talk with them, in private. Mai wasnt sure what she told them, but they told her she could go. On her first day though, she saw that everyone could transform into these amazing animals, and she wondered how she could ever get into such an amazing school. Bu the teacher told her she was special too, and she could also do these things. At first, she didnt believe her, but curiosity got the best of her and she found herself trying to form into an animal. Any animal. She just needed to stay at this school. She gave up and sighed, shaking off her light blonde fur coat and walking towards her house on all fours. All fours? Mai ran to her car and looked in the reflection to find she was a lion! An actual lion! She roared with delight, forming back into a human and giggling with joy.
Over the course of the years, she learnt how to form into an owl, and mastered flying naturally. Her newest form is a ferret, she learnt it a couple months ago. So she still has room for imporvement, but all in all, she doing very well with her changes into an animal and back again. But one night, when beasts were overcoming her house, she couldnt form. She was too afraid, she just couldnt concentrate. She tried running towards the school, as the teachers could help her fight these things off, but she got knocked out by something from behind. When she awoke, she looked up to see the face of the teacher who had shown her around the school in the first place, and she grinned happily.
