So do we just apply in this thread for beta testing?

amazoDog161I'd say the best way to get a bit of income would be to have the game be paid outright, or, if you want the F2P model, microtranstactions with things like skins and the like. I would strongly suggest to be against advertisements, since if done poorly, they give the game an unprofessional feel. Besides, how many PC games have you seen with ads?
I think the voxel might turn out okay, but I think some sort of low poly art style would work better. If you do go with voxel, make sure it's like alot of them, not the Minecraft style with big blocks, but something more like cube world.
You will be able to buy skins in the game with real life cash but it's going to be purely cosmetic. The game will have a small price but buying skins will purely do nothing but make your weapon look different. Our characters are going to look blocky like in "Cube World".

Just going to bump this. If you would like to leave feedback then you can post it on the steam page or on this thread! We are also selling the game on itch.io for .99 cents! If you are going to buy the game be aware that it is in very early development and has a ton of bugs. Keep in mind that the game is in very early development. The game will have more features and be more stable in several months.

Bump... As said above share the steam link with everyone you know! If we get enough people following the game then we will put it up on steam greenlight! https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/ ... earchtext=

We are now live on steam concept! The purpose of Steam Concept is so the community on steam can give us feedback before we put it on steam greenlight. We have changed the name of the game to "Blocked War" the game is now set in WWII. Here is the link: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/ ... earchtext=
You can comment on it and we will post often on there and more in depth but also post the updates here on PMC.
If you share the link to your friends and family. Why not even share it with your dog! Once again here is the link https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/ ... earchtext= Link

We are planning on putting the game on Itch.io and possibly putting the game on steam concepts so we can get more feedback on the game and possibly get a bigger following on steam so we can get greenlit on steam. Post what you think about this plan or should we just go on steam creations first.

Are you guys going to do cases or boxes like CS:GO? Or is it just going to be default skins for everyone.

about the model, the right hand looks kinda weird when he is holding a gun as if it were broken.
Also you could put it on gamejolt.
Also you could put it on gamejolt.

Keep in mind that the game is still very early one and we are going to make improvements to the models as they are placeholders. While for where we are going to put the game on is itch.io and possibly gamejolt.

A poll is now up! Should we use Ad's on the game? Make a price on the game? Or add in DLC? (P.S we are against DLC.) ERMGURD THIS IS MY 1001ST POST!!!

May I ask does this have any unique characteristics at this point or is a idea similar ace of spades at this point?

-Alex+Yup, we are using Unity 5 and a mix of C# and JavaScript. Since when did any game developer not know how to code?He said that on a different thread.
1
Are you going to put the game on steam? itch.io?

Would the game servers be powered by Unity Multiplayer or another service? Would the servers be community hosted? Would multiplayer be a DLC? (I am referring to a very old thread that was on PMC.)
