I play a lot of ATLauncher's Yogscast Moonquest modpack, and I've been trying to set up a quarry for a while now. However, everything goes fine until I try to hook up some redstone engines. The engines don't pump like they normally do, and the quarry doesn't do anything. Anybody know what I did wrong?

Alright...I figured it out. If you attach a solar panel from Galacticraft (it does work), It goes a lot faster than even stirling engines. Thanks for the help, guys!!

Redstone engines can't be used with quarries

They can if you use power pipes, but it's incredibly inefficient.
A better option if you don't want to use higher engines is to try the Electrical Engine from... forestry I think? (Not 100% sure on that). Lets you use IC2 power and it's a relatively decent engine for the power used.

Oh, I didn't know that. Do you know of any other non-engine power sources? I don't think power from Galacticraft will work...
