Planet Minecraft

Well, I was on a server the other day, and when I logged out and tried to join my server, it was saying "End of stream" every time I tried to log in after at least a 2 minute wait. It appeared, via my server console, that other people were having the same error. Then, after a while, it started to give me an error that was mostly gibberish (image below). At first I thought it was just me, because there were other people on my server. To prove this I shut the server down and reloaded it. When I opened it back up the console showed everybody losing connection when they tried to join, and nobody being let on the server.

I thought that was very odd, but then I noticed the servers that I play on having very few people on them as well (from people leaving and not being able to get back on), and when I tried to join them I got the EXACT SAME gibberish error I got before.

I wondre if all of the issues about not being able to connect are all related? o.O

i think its something to do with minecraft.net to work on the skins not loading and the threading problems.

Yeah, probably.

same problem. i got on live support for clanforge and they said it was a problem with minecraft.net

ironically http://help.mojang.com/ is "currently unable to check if it is down"

Server owner right here. Same this happening. You dont want to know how bad it is when 100 people are trying every second

Just out of curiosity how long are services typically down? I just started running my server last week and before that I had never ran one so I've never waited on something like this before.

They were never down like this till 1.3+ came out. There are a lot of bugs with 1.3+
