hey guys, was wondering if you could help me with something today. i have a CISCO docsis DPC 3.0 gateway router and i'm trying to port forward it for my server, but it isn't working. there was a video on youtube of a guy doing it with my exact router, but for me it doesn't work. i've allowed tcp/udp connections through my firewall, and i've added the ports to my port range forwarding slot in my router, but still no luck. if someone could help me as soon as possible, that would be great.

Are you trying to use your public IP or localhost?
You can't use your public IP, those are for your friends. You have to use localhost.
