Hey guys so I'm building an underwater dome and in this dome theirs a village lol... but I've ran into a big problem, these green slime monsters just keep spawning!! Why? how can I stop their spawning???? people say that monsters don't spawn unless its dark so I light up where they're spawning and they're still coming!!!! Help? D: they're really getting annoying!!!!

Turn it on peaceful mode. Monsters can't spawn in peaceful.

There slimes when you dig down close to bedrock they spawn. No way of stoping them unless you go to peaceful... Or you could build somewhere else.

Where are they spawning? and if it is such a big deal you could try setting it to peaceful mode and building the village and then put torches on every other free blocks. then set it back to whatever. if you still need help message me and i could try to help

I changed it to peaceful mode and I don't see any monsters at all spawning, I think it worked thanks! ^^
