Every time i get a mod, i follow the exact download instructions and they are not difficult to follow, they all explain how you have to delete a specific folder, i forget the name because i DELETED it, and then place the mod in a specific folder, i do this exactly to what it says, sometimes it says download mod loader. so i do that too.

when i finish the installation tutorial is gives, i turn on MineCraft and attempt to make the items in specifies, but nothing happens, this has happened with every single mod...

please help, why inst this working, is there some sort of other thing i need to download that these tutorials expect everyone to already have? i know a lot of people are having this problem, so its not just me.

I Cant Really Help You There .I'm no good with Installing Mods For Minecraft.I couldent Even Install Too Many Items!If you cant Install Texture Packs or Skins I can help with that .

This is lootheds Step By Step instructions:
Step 1: Force Update
*needs everything in .minecraft as well
Step 2: Download ModLoader, Mod, Forge(If applicable), ModloaderMP(If applicable)
Step 3: Open up Minecraft.jar with WinRAR and open ModLoader up with WinRAR
Step 4: Drag contents of Modloader.zip into Minecraft.jar
Step 5: Delete META-INF
Step 6: Open up Mod.zip and drag contents into Minecraft.jar
Step 7: Open Minecraft done!

in step 2, do i have to download all of them? because what is "Mod" is it the mod that i want? or what? i dont understand

Yes "Mod is the mod you want" and usually you only need Modloader and the Mod

ok i did that, and minecraft cant load any of my saves or enter any servers, i had to delete it and redownload and install it to get it working again

so i will assume that no one has a solution?

Excuse me loothed but Modloader is not compatible with forge, and forge is not compatible with modloadermp...
Also. Please explain specifically. Say everything plz
