This thread is a trainwreck.

I wish a Mod could lock this, and you make a new one, so you can get better help. I'm not re-reading 200 posts, and I doubt others will too.

Unless you can explain what you need help with, and what you have so far.

What friend can give you 32GB of RAM?! It costs MORE than 1k! He might be rich then. Anyway, if you're making a server you need to port-forward, let your computer on 24/7, get better processors (an Intel Xenon for example) and think about how you'll pay the energy debts etc. This will be very hard with the new EULA system so yes, it is a waste. Go sell it, get some money (1k or so) and then, after you do that, get a good amount of games in Steam OR pay for your server for 5 years.

Headphones!! Are you serious, those are useless. The webcam and the cardreaders are obviously the most important part!

... Are you dumb? After headphones, the most important part are the USB ports!

You know i was being sarcastic there

You don't need 32GB of RAM, unless you run a server (which will mostly need 8GB, unless it's HUGE) or run games, Photoshop, After Effects, Firefox, Corel Draw and Skype AT THE SAME TIME.

Unless you've already gotten the 32GB of RAM, I wouldn't even consider buying it. Unless you're running heavy gaming, Photoshop, After Effects, and other software at the same time you won't ever use it to it's full advantage.

It lets you store large files on your RAM to recall them at blazing speeds. There is no point in using 32 GB of RAM unless you do that. No matter how many programs you're running at once no one needs that much RAM.
