Ok Um I'll make another post.

Hey still need help.
1
This thread is a trainwreck.
I wish a Mod could lock this, and you make a new one, so you can get better help. I'm not re-reading 200 posts, and I doubt others will too.
Unless you can explain what you need help with, and what you have so far.

My friend works for computers or sumthing like that. And its just a server for me and my friends.
1
I said MY FRIEND GAVE THE THE RAM!!!! Plus yes I am also making a server.
1
What friend can give you 32GB of RAM?! It costs MORE than 1k! He might be rich then. Anyway, if you're making a server you need to port-forward, let your computer on 24/7, get better processors (an Intel Xenon for example) and think about how you'll pay the energy debts etc. This will be very hard with the new EULA system so yes, it is a waste. Go sell it, get some money (1k or so) and then, after you do that, get a good amount of games in Steam OR pay for your server for 5 years.

If u keep getting mad I will just leave.

Headphones!! Are you serious, those are useless. The webcam and the cardreaders are obviously the most important part!
... Are you dumb? After headphones, the most important part are the USB ports!
You know i was being sarcastic there
You don't say

Yes.

Since u already got that ram use it, it won't do any harm.
1
Well, yeah, but he spent his money on something not useful...
1
Ik.
1
Feels bad, doesn't it?
1
You don't need 32GB of RAM, unless you run a server (which will mostly need 8GB, unless it's HUGE) or run games, Photoshop, After Effects, Firefox, Corel Draw and Skype AT THE SAME TIME.
1
NickbrickI'm doing other stuff and only using 16Gb of ram instead,
Did u buy 32 GB of ram already?
1
I'm doing other stuff and only using 16Gb of ram instead, I already got the 32Gbs of ram but im giving half back to my friend.
1
Because I already got the ram what would I do the other half of the ram?
1
Unless you've already gotten the 32GB of RAM, I wouldn't even consider buying it. Unless you're running heavy gaming, Photoshop, After Effects, and other software at the same time you won't ever use it to it's full advantage.
1
Even at that u probably wont even use 10 of it.

I dont care I'm putting down the 32Gb.
1
U keep not listening to us, so i am done.
1
I have 16 and thats morre then plently you dont need any moar then 8 tbh..
1
Heard of it, what is it?
1
It lets you store large files on your RAM to recall them at blazing speeds. There is no point in using 32 GB of RAM unless you do that. No matter how many programs you're running at once no one needs that much RAM.
1
Yeah, I guess so.
1
There is really no point in a RAM disk.
1
Like other people have said, even 16 GB of RAM is overkill for ANY game.
1
Dude, I want 32 Gbs of am. I already said I'm not only going to do Minecraft
1
Are you using a RAM Disk?
1
As in why i think someone should have 16 gig sorry
1
Y 32 GB of RAM?
1
Maybe he needs to run loads of high ram intenseive programs at once? I dont know really i think 16 would be plenty enough
1
Nothing would use even 16....
sounds like a younger kid, who thinks that ram is more important than other things...

I would need 16gig for playing a game while having photoshop and blender open and a video recorder going at once, and still have some space

32Gb RAM , 2Tb HHD

This is turning into a spam thread
1
I have the RAM, HHD, and thats it, also i eant under $3,000

Don't forget the power supply! xD
Calm down my friend. The most important part is the cooler...
If u don't have a good PSU u could fry ur computer.

Wait, why are we getting off-topic?
1
Most stock cooling is good for non-overclocking builds.
1
Yeah, especially if the case is good too.
