that didn't make sense... but Hamachi makes it so I can host my own server without pushing a port in my dorms router

Imagine it as a room. Everyone with hamachi can create a room. So let's say, I create a room, and my Hamachi IP is 123.123.123.123. When I create a Hamachi room (or network, as it's called) I have to give it an ID and a password. I advertise the ID (such as the original post has done), people join the room via the ID, and they use my Hamachi IP to join whatever server (such as a Minecraft server) I have.

you need to log into hamachi for it to work, and you aren't logged into any of the hamachi rooms
