Deciding whether or not to make this game.
So I'm currently debating whether or not to make a point and click adventure game. Currently I've created the barebones features, but I've become indecisive if it is something I want to continue making.
So I've come to the forums to ask for help. Should I continue working on this game or not?
To get a feel for what the game is you can walk around and closely examine objects in the environment and put them in your inventory for later use (generic point and click features). Though I intend to flesh out the game with a dark and surreal story focusing around a young female protagonist.
Here is a direct download to the game if you feel inclined - Download
Here are some screenshots of the game.

It really depends on if you want to make it. If you're not having fun developing it, I reccomend you quit. But if you find it enjoyable, I support you do it. It really depends.

As a game developer I've come across this a lot, not knowing weather or not you want to continue development. My suggestion would be to table it for a while, then come back to it after some time and see if you wan to continue then. It takes a long time to develop a game, you shouldn't continue to develop only to decide later you don't want to do it any more.

The game has potential considering i beta tested your other game. I'll message you on skype if I have more things to add.

I downloaded it and played it for a few minutes. I think the game has potential if you put your mind in the right place, and you should definitely keep working on it.
Coming from someone who gets tentative to keep at a certain project, my advice would be focus on getting a line drawn from the beginning to the end, and then refine all the details and worry about what has to be fixed, but keep at it.

Do what you want to do. If you go ahead and finish this, I would focus on the story first. Don't want any loopholes now, would ya?

If you feel there is more potential in this game, go for it!
