Deleted world?

Sometimes, we all need a little general help.

A while ago i accidentally deleted my (favorite) world while installing a mod. i have done loads of research and have yet to find a solution that would work for me. I have already checked my recycle bin multiple times and have not found it. id rather not install any extra software, but if it is necessary, i will install something. If i know anything, it is still somewhere on my computer, just wondering if someone could help me find it. Thanks in advance. :D

check your recycle bin(REALLY CHECK IT! If its not there, im sorry but your world is gone forever D: ) When you find it and bring it back, put it back in the -saves- folder.

Depending on the OS, I believe you can restore previous versions of your save files. For Windows 7, navigate to your saves folder, right click and select 'Properties'. Once here, click the 'Previous Versions' tab and select the folder you wish to restore. Here are some images to help you~

Do you know if the previous versions can go back any farther than a month ago?

Dunno~ Sorry, this is something I never really played around with and I'm not exactly what you'd call 'Computer Savvy' x3

Just check for yourself. If it's there, good. If not, sorry, nothing you can really do. I suggest you backup your .Minecraft folder properly before playing with modifications though.

You don't need this info, as we've already handled the banning and what not. Change your password to recover your account if you haven't attempted to yet.
