Aether for 1.2.5 is NOT (I repeat NOT) updated for 1.2.5 yet. Though VERY soon it will be.

On the Aether mod's twitter I think they said they're working on Aether for 1.2.5 but its not released yet.

Actually its a pre-release and probably not finished, but yes The Aether Team has the pre-release for 1.2.5 (I think when they say its 1.9 its just the mod version, I tested it and it works and they do say its 1.2.5.)
