Yo,

I own a server with a domain for a IP. No idea why but sometimes instead of connecting to my server I get connected to a french hub server. I feel like this hub server is taking alot of my players. If you can help me out let me know. (Domain with go daddy : mc.petricoreprison.com)

Even with a domain, the port is still required.
Domains can't redirect to ports.

Example, If I were hosting 2 servers on a domain like mc.galacticarc.ca
one on port 25565 and one on 25566

I would have to put port 25566 at the end of the domain. If I had another domain pointing to that one, I can't redirect ports like mc2.galacticarc.ca = mc.galacticarc.ca:25566

DNS can't forward ports.

I'm using A (Host). The server is on a ip with a port, the port isn't needed in the ip though because of the domain. The minecraft server is on a dedicated server hosted by GGServers.

You are on a shared multicraft host.

Remove A record and use SRV record as follows:

_minecraft._tcp.domain.name. 86400 IN SRV 0 5 25566 server.domain.name.

Sounds bizarre.

Are you using A records or SRV records to point at your minecraft server? Is the minecraft server on a dedicated server? or on a (shared) minecraft host?

Edit
Looks like you are on a shared minecraft host running multicraft http://panel83.mcstartup.net/multicraft ... &view=home

Perhaps contact their support and ask for help.

As you are on a shared host you are probably not using a standard port for your mc server, so you will need to use an SRV DNS record to forward the ip and port for your domain as follows:

_minecraft._tcp.domain.name. 86400 IN SRV 0 5 25566 server.domain.name.
