I wish there was a way to edit texture packs in real time like you can do with entities.
BTW do you guys now of a good editor for coding and a tutorial to make a mod in minecraft? I'm currently using atom.

Real time in game theres not, but this tool might help:
ResourcePack Workbench - Resource pack creator http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-tools/1265199-tool-resourcepack-workbench-resource-pack-creator
Or you can use a mod like Macro / Keybind and make a script to reload your current texture pack. You would edit your pack, save, then go to mc and reload the R Pack.

I don't think realtime texturing will ever be added to Minecraft.

Perhaps as a mod, doesn't seem hard to do as an idea but the code would be a bit much

Would be very tedious to program that. Kinda like a whole new client.

If it cant be done do you know and easier way of editing textures with a 3d way of viewing it becuase CS6 doesnt have 3d viewing

That sucks i hope mojang adds real time texturing and real time modding also i've used eclipse i've just found it doesnt quite do the job for me plus atom supports everything so i think ill stick with atom
