Finding People to play mine craft for 9 year old

My son just got the xbox and is dying to play online. He is young so he doesnt have alot of people to play online with. Do you guys know how to find kids his age on xbox live to play with???

xbox live is pretty rough.my 10 and 8 yr old cousins have mc for 360.ill find out if they have live and if they do he could play with them.they have the same problem.p.s. sorry they don't have live.i called them then edited this

Well if you want easy money just let him play with anyone and if anyone harass or threatens him just file a lawsuit (most states have laws against and there are federal laws too so you can sue most people in the US) or just monitor him and his "friends"

Well from what i know. 80% of the players are around 8-12 years old. Well on the pc its not that hard, you just find a server and start playing. Xbox is probably diffrent though, i have no idea cuz i dont own one.

if it's on the xbox instead of PC, I'd recommend only people he knows in real life unless you can find other kids in his situation

I'm 10. I create games with JavaScript. But as I scroll through the internet I find many immature 8-13 year olds spamming and calling people noobs even they don't know what a noob is.

To be honest, the only people he really should be playing with at that age is his family. Finding friends online can be dangerous, and people online can tease him and bully him, especially if he is young. Just stick to playing with him and his brothers/sisters if he has any until he is older.
