Hi everyone,

My name is Andrew and I am a 30 year old programmer. For the past year I have been developing an open economy RPG minigame server. What is this you ask? Imagine a minigame server like Hypixel or Mineplex where you could share your wealth with your friends. Ever get bored of playing non-stop minigames? No problem you can fight mobs in your lobby and build and fight in your private realm. We aim to build the custom minigames you know and love while providing an experience that's different from your normal minigame server. We do use some premade plugins to make our life easier, but the meat of the server is all custom programmed. The hub features are custom programmed and the minigame software is all custom programmed. You can always see what plugins we use by the /plugins command.

Here are some ForgeStrom features:

• An open economy Minigame server (unlike hypixel and mineplex)
• RPG elements like professions to keep you busy (in the hub).
• Cooking Profession
• Farming Profession
• Fishing Profession
• Mining Profession
• Smelting Profession
• Wood Cutting Profession
• Personal player worlds that you can build on.
• Custom Minigame rotation server (similar to Mineplex style)
• Custom Item, Gadget, and minigame kit creation
• A tutorial area that will teach you everything you need to know (revisit at anytime) Plus much much more all custom programmed

To start the minigames you need two players or more. Also, I am looking for additional game ideas. I will make the games you want to play.


Current things to be aware of..

• Tutorial text for professions have not been written yet. (you may skip tutorial if you choose)
• Mobs don't currently drop money
• Current starting money has been raised to 5000 to test server features
• Holograms may appear in random places (until we fix it)
• Minigames take two players to start and don't yet reward exp and money (but will soon).
• 4 Games are put on rotation but we can create any game you want and will be our main focus when hub content is fully finished.
• Make sure you explore your compass menu and read it's description.
• Maps and everything are backed up so if you are able to break things somehow, we will fix it.
• Test your realm!
• Auction house NPC and bank NPC are available but not currently active (will release these features in a patch).
• Server will contain bugs, so if you find some, please let us know!

Commands:

• /lobby - Brings you to a lobby
• /help - Opens help menu
• /hub - Brings you to the lobby
• /mainmenu - Opens the main menu
• /money - Shows your current ballance
• /playtime - Shows your current play time
• /plugins - Shows you our plugins
• /realm - Opens realm menu
• /realm shop - Opens the realm shop
• /realm upgrade - Upgrades your player realm (coming soon)
• /realm title <message> - Sets the join message for you and other players
• /realm invite <player> - Invite a friend to build on your realm
• /realm uninvite <player> - Removes a friend from your realm build list
• /realm reset - Resets your realm back to the default island. Can not be undone.
• /realm help - Display realm commands.
• /roll - Roll between 1-100
• /roll <MaxNumber> - Rolls a number between 1 - MaxNumber
• /settings - Shows you the settings menu
