1) Freedom. You can do so much that you can't do otherwise.
2) Sharing a common interest.
3) Me. Since I'm sure that a lot of people consider me one of the best Role Players. Sorry, toot my own horn moment.

1) Fantasy- Usually turns out that the RP is fantasy based too.
2) Character- How will I develop my character?
3) Backstory- More specifically, 'Crap, another backstory I have to write.'
