This glitch has been around for so long. How dull.

Why are you morons talking about this? this is a minecraft glitch and everyone knows it except this troll... he just used too many items like the guy said the screen is cut its easy to tell... and why even mention this glitch moron? you want publicity? this is what your getting apparently cause everyone knows this and the people (2 idiots) who are asking you to PM have no minecraft sense what so ever..

There is a real SMP dupe glitch for 1.2.3

1) Fill your inventory with items you want to dupe

2) get your self down to 1/2 a heart of health (helps if your hungry so it doesn't regen) - You can fine-tune your health by firing arrows into the air - they do 1/2 hp of damage.

3) throw an ender pearl into the air (must be an ender pearl)
!!disconnect from the server before the ender pearl drops and kills you!!

5) Wait 10 seconds for your character to die on the server

6) Reconnect - your inventory will be full + when your char died it dropped all ur loot.

This 100% works. I tested it out. I did throw all my duped stuff into lava - this is lame and you shouldn't dupe.

This does NOT work in single player - only SMP.

edit* i think there must be at least 1 other person connected to the server for this to work. They get the message that you 'died from fall damage'

I know how to do that.get too many items,save the diamonds in a slot,throw all stuff down,load the saved inventory,pick the old diamonds up and voila,you have twice the amount of diamonds

I'm laughing so hard at this troll! That isn't a glitch. Anyone heard of Too Many Items? You can switch from creative to survival. Thats what he did. AND, in all his pictures showing INV. the area around is cut out.

It's easy. You throw what you want to duplicate on the ground. You close your minecraft (not saving, I'd use ALT+F4). Then you log in to Minecraft, and voila! You have duplicated your item. This only works in SSP and CSP.
