I contacted Mojang by emailing them through there contact us page.

I'll try downloading an older version of Minecraft but I king of want the newest one so I can play on the newest servers and maps

Also I was told that my windows firewall might have something to do with it could that be it?

And as for my PC I used to play Minecraft no problem untill the new update.

I'll get u a screenshot when I have time.

did you try it for the launcher? if not do that and if it isnt working maybe try an older version of the launcher? btw maybe screenshots (using printscreen then paste into paint or gimp for me i do fn+home to do this) of the launcher version youre using? also what are your jvm/java arguments?

but not really sure as this isnt something that ive ever seem happen

what if you hold f3+c for 10ish seconds then let go? this should force a crash and give a crash report (the thing you gave is the log but that still doesnt seem like it should happen even with lan)

also ive had a thought... it should ask but did you allow or deny java to use internet after launching the game? if you did anything other then allow and it hasnt reappeared that could be the issue

also by contacted mojang do you mean made a bug report on their site or msg on twitter or related? if its twitter im pretty sure they use an automated system to match what you ask to stuff making it semi unreliable (and even me asking them to fix the memory leaks i got a reply to check a page telling me to use mods... wat?)

maybe try using a different minecraft version if the launcher isnt the cause (checking the game version seems better to do first) or try after the jar is downloaded and launched close minecraft and disconnect from the internet and try again?

also (although it seems unlikely) give your specs k

remember to put stuff either in a spoiler (different spoilers for logs/specs/crash) or in a paste link k (and before it saying "crash:" or "specs:" to make it easier to sieve through the things k)

I don't have a single mod and I purchased Minecraft from the official Mojang site. I've tried going to %appdata% . Minecraft deleting everything and uninstalling it and re downloading it from scratch and I just keep getting the server crash.i contacted Mojang they said to try the community.

all i can tell is that this happens: "Starting integrated minecraft server version 1.11.2"
stating its a server and then this: "Caused by: java.net.SocketException: Permission denied: connect" states its the client

theres also this:

which im pretty sure vanilla minecraft should never say this...

it seems like youre trying to either use a minecraft server to play on a server or something...

the only other thing i can think is that youre trying to do something you shouldnt as in either illegal version of minecraft or a modded version using mods from anything other then their official site

try following this:
Click to reveal
hold the start menu key and hit r then you can let go of both

type %appdata% into it and hit enter

select the .minecraft and do ctrl+x

go to desktop or somewhere else youll remember (leave that screen open)

do ctrl+v and itll move it to that area

let minecraft make a fresh install and try what you did again

if it works yay if not im not sure you might have to ask mojang if nobody else can answer k

if you have any mods or modded jar change version to vanilla (if its already vanilla follow the spoiler above k) and if it still crashes idk srry if it gives a different crash then post in the paste thing k and link here but if it doesnt and you have a modded jar reinstall without the mods added after the last time you remember it working k

hopefully this helps and btw if it stops crashing after you get a new .minecraft install just copy the folders and files you want to keep then delete the older minecraft folder (or check for differences but thatd be annoying to do so i suggest only mods and versions and config folders and stuff like that intended to be changed)
