I'm in need of a computer build. I need it to have at least 1TB, and be able to play modded minecraft, record and edit videos efficiently.

Budget: $1,000

Operating System: Windows 7 or higher, not Windows 10 or above though.

Thanks!

,Storage: I personally have 2Tb of storage and I've already gone through about .7Gb and I don't do videos and what not. 1Tb I don't think will simply be enough unless you plan on deleting some of those files once your done. An added bonus to this you can store your OS on one hard drive and keep your games and programs on the other, making booth HDDs boot up quickly.

I plan on keeping the videos on USB storages, is all I have to say about that part.

Other than that, I researched the parts and even though this build is a little over my budget, I will try to do this build! Thanks

Ok so I just finished building a list for you here it is:
Total: $1,190.12 (without rebates) $1095.12(with)

Part Breakdown:
- CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor------------------------------------------- $324.99
- GPU: Asus GeForce GTX 960 2GB Video Card------------------------------------------------------ $194.99
- RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory---------------------------- $82.88
- Motherboard: Asus Z87-Pro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard------------------------------------------ $110.98
- Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 OEM (64-bit)-------------------- $86.75
- PSU: Cooler Master VSM 650W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply------- $69.99
- Storage: 2 Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drives------------- $52.33 (Each)
- Case: Fractal Design Define R4 w/Window (Black Pearl) ATX Mid Tower Case -------------- $89.99
- WiFi (If needed): Gigabyte GC-WB867D-I 802.11a/b/g/n/ac PCI-Express x1 Wi-Fi Adapter- $29.89

Reasons why (Only really covering Main Parts):
Cpu: the Intel i7 and i5 series CPU's are known to be "THE" gaming and work load cpu, with high ghz rates and processing power and boasting "hyper-threading" to boost their processing power. The i7-4790k is a high end CPU with extreme processing power, given your playing Minecraft a game which thrives off this you'll find a great deal of fps increase possibly allowing you to play with shaders as well... not only this but it's high processing power is great for video editing, however not for rendering this is where the GPU comes in.

Gpu: for the GPU I went with the GTX 960 a new Mid-End Gpu by Nvidia(known for being compatible with intel cpu's the best). With the new "900" series of gpu's Nvidias released we've seen a substantial increase in proformance in each of them, while this card to some may be a mere upgrade of the 760 it still bridges the gap between mid and high end gpu's and is a good starter card in your budget to be replaced in the far future. For now it'll suit your needs and play most current-gen games at 60+ fps at meduim to high settings.

Ram: You've probably heard that 8Gb is standard for most gamers and while thats true you did mention video editing is something you want to include. So for this I went with the 16Gb G.Skill Ripjaw Ram at 1866Mhz. It's at standard speed but this is "standard" for what your looking for in video editing and other programs of the sort. This will keep your computer running smooth even with a video rendering, a recorder running, as well as a game and possibly browser at the same time running in the same instance.

PSU: Simple reason for this, it's gold certified and it has plenty of room to upgrade in the future!

Storage: I personally have 2Tb of storage and I've already gone through about .7Gb and I don't do videos and what not. 1Tb I don't think will simply be enough unless you plan on deleting some of those files once your done. An added bonus to this you can store your OS on one hard drive and keep your games and programs on the other, making booth HDDs boot up quickly.

Well thats all I have this is the link to the build:

Hope this helped and for any more experienced PC specialists feel free to critisize this for I'm sure there might be something wrong to the community... but as far as I can tell this would be a decent build.

If you can give me about 30 min and answer these questions I can help with that:
1 Do you need a keyboard and mouse with the build?
2 Do you need a monitor for your build and if so what resolution would you prefer?
3 Will your budget include your video recording and editing software if so that is about $150ish off the budget

other wise I'm show you two builds: one with a monitor and keyboard one without that'll hopefully have more proformance.
