Getting New players, Help please =D

I I've started a new PvP RP Minecraft server and I've posted it here on PMC, we have 20 slots and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to get a bigger playerbase, we have about give or take 5 steady players, and we want to expand that, anyone have any suggestions?
