Now that that is out of the way.

This is a land of utter myth...


The World
The Capital

At the center of the floating kingdom on a plateau above the rest of the lands lies the capital city of Gaerlica. Gaerlica is home to The King and many of the guilds, the main two being the Thieves guild and the Knives guild. The King is the ruler of the land, he had 5 advisors, two of whom are magicians and one of which is a Dragon Lord. The Thieves are a sophisticated group of bandits, they have tunnels all over the city and other routes off the plateau. The Knives are assassins, they have never killed a leader of the Thieves, and they will not kill the king or a magician, because all of their energy is released in an explosion at death.


The Scattered lands

Here is a land of many sections of floating rock. whole villages live on some, others a lone hut. Most of the lands population lives in this land, where rocks graze like sheep and sometime crash into each other, while it is a shock and may cause some issues they are never traveling fast so other then some rock scrapings all is well. This covers most the land, mainly to the west, where the Engineers are.


The Sky Guild

To the south lies the powerful city of the Sky Guild, they lead the kings... Airborne navy. This consists of dragon like creatures, Mechanical and magically power battleships of sorts and. of course, slow but powerful troop carriers. This is all led by the Great Lord Benedar Soluis.


The Magicians Guild

To the east is the powerful Magicians Guild, it is a natural floating rock, imbued with magic so that it does not move and surrounded by a shield to protect the land from stray magic. It lies over the great sea of L' Luent so that in the years before the shield strays would often land in the water.


The city of Engineers

This is where everything non magical is invented and most of it is made. They supply Solius with airships and built the high-tech chains that hold the capital still. Alot of them are half mad because of fumes and other horrible substences.


The Great North Mountains

This is a land of great Mountains floating above the Edge sea. Up here train the religious elite and it is home to most of the airborne animals of the kingdom.

Airship:

Airships are reserved for the Army or the Wealthy. The Majority cannot afford such luxurious travel. Airship are however used as a sort of bus or... train system between the major towns.

Sky birds:

They are a small species of Dragon that is both tame able and mountable, while there are many variations and while some are less dragon like and more bird like then others they are generally about 15ft in length. They are cheaper to hire then airships and affordable to the middle classes

Locals

Humans:

The humans lead all and control all, to be in a position of power you need to be human. Foolish people often wonder why? Well this is a time long ago and who ever ruled had ultimate power, the ruler was a human.

Elves:

The elves are the strongest of magical ability, even though they cannot hold official positions of power, the leaders of the magicians guild still give the elves, unofficial positions. Even accepting that, some have gone and made their own small group in the Scattered lands where they can practice with judgement.

Dragons:

That is a sketch of one of the smaller dragons, they can be much larger. Some have been sighted as larger then the kings palace! While they are few and even less venture forth their caves, they still need to be watched out for!

Orientolar:

This is a rare creature, created by high concentrations of magic on populations of Gnargs

Gnarg:

This is a sketch of a kings soldier riding a Gnarg, they are the cheapest and most common form of transport.

1-NO GODMODDING that means no OVERPOWEREDNESS (OP) and NO META GAMING (RP as another player, NPCs are OK)
2-Don't Swear, Try to Keep this Appropriate For Everyone.
3-Don't Troll, or Ignore Other Posts if they Follow the Rules.
4-Backstory's Must At LEAST Be a Paragraph Long, the long the better chance to be accepted
5-Be Realistic, no star ships or aliens.

Strengths: silent in movement, good accuracy
Weaknesses: his history, sheer inability and when hes outnumbered. Or when hes messed up an assasination.
Any Skills?: Quick.... good aiming.
Backstory: A knife his entire life, Mestaris learnt the tricks of the trade from a very early age. He spent hours on end trying to perfect his accuracy, which he finally acheived. He is now a full Knife, specialising in assisinations that look like accidents or to make points to people. HE knows little about his family, after losing them after a theives raid on his home. He ran far from the place, and never returned, but became a knife, hoping to avenge his family. He works on his own, rarely stopping to chat with anyone working with him. Hes very cold to those around him, and stays in disguise or concelaed until the moment to strike his quarry dead.
Anything else: Gypsy queen. I know the backstory isnt great... But a) I dont have much time atm, im not supposed to be online :/ and B) i havent written an app in ages.

Orian is a kind soul he has lived in the sky guild his whole life, when Orian was 13 he went on a large adventure with his friend Tonio as in which they traveled across the whole of the skyguild.On this trip Orianand Tonio came across a fallen man from the Airborn Navy, They picked this man up and took him back home.Through this act of heroism he earned an award for bravery.

When Orian was 18 he joined the Navy and as he got older slowly went up through the ranks, at 20 he received the rank of Lieutenant but during this ceremony he was shot in the left shoulder(with a bow) by his friend Tonio because of his growing jealousy Tonio was stripped of his ranks and sent out of sky guild, Orian was rushed to Hospital.From then on he was weak in that arm and through that incapacitating his bow skill(Not that it was any good anyway).

At the age of 30 Orian Recieved a prestigeous Commander position.When Orian was 32 he was picked out to go onto a dangerous mission, a bunch of Bandits had been hiding out in the scattered lands.While he was on this mission his troop came acroos a wild Orientolar as they fought this beast the bandits came up behind killing 2 of his men and knocking out another, Orian was too busy fighting the Orientolar he did not see the bandits and by the time the great beast was dead most of his men were lying on the floor drenched in blood.

Orian went mad killing all the bandits in as little as 5 swipes! Blood splattered all over him and tears running down his face he returned home to be neither praised for killing the bandits and the Orientolar or being shuned for the death of his crew there was utter silence.This day has scarred Orian for life and is nowhe always remembers to look behind him to check for sneak attacks, from that day forward Orian Vowed to be the best in the Airborne Navy!!
