Today is the day the pilgrims John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin and a few other guys came to America and signed the Declaration of Independence to declare their freedom.
What are you doing today on this day in history?

Happy Thanksgiving everyone, troll thread locked, back to sitting around and eating/playing WoW all day while I'm off work.

Merry Christmas everybody.

I hope the Groundhog sees his shadow because that means it will be 12 more days of Christmas!
1
That would mean I get to add 9 more candles to my Valentine's menorah, but only if St. Patrick's Day happens on the 3rd Thursday before Columbus sees the Easter Bunny's shadow.
I tried way too hard didn't I

What if the Santa Bunny comes to give us all fireworks to light on Thanksgiving so we can light our wreaths to count down the day to President's Day?

I'm eating food and responding to troll posts on this momentous occasion.

It should still be called July 4th or the day of independence at least because they left the Mayflower to come here to get away from the king of England.

Independence Day is when America became it's own country. It used to be owned by England. Plus, why would it be called 4th of JULY when it's the 27th of NOVEMBER!? I'm not sure if you're a troll or you're serious.

Pookie said it on Hey Arnold.

This irritates me alot. But I'm not gonna correct it. But first of all, it's not the 4th...
1
Now I'm not American, but even I know that it's not July 4th...
1
I thought that's what they called this day.
1
Here in America, July 4th is the 4th of July.
Today is November 27th. We call this day "Thanksgiving." It's when the pilgrims sailed to "the new land" to get away from England and start a new life.
