Hello to all redstoners! -rocketman42
Im already level 14 and still havent introduced myself!
I really love working with redstone, especially complex logic. (i get it from my dad a proffesor of computer science) I have made many designs for new, faster logic gates, especially adders. I mostly focus in decoders and encoders, as they are the main thing keeping larger, faster computers unrealistic. For example: i designed a full 32-bit decoder (up to 4,000,000,000 something) and hooked it up to some bcd to seven seg decoders. Decoding with all on takes only 20 seconds! And it is super-compact (it takes a serial input and uses double-dabble/the +3 algorithm. There is really very little info out there on large decoders, so i thought i would make some. I also am in charge of Project Alagaeisa, the largest and first ever total remake of alagaesia. It shold be coplete by october. I wanted to say that my main goal is to develope redstone components for larger machines, whilst teaching the community about the wonders of redstone. I am only thirteen and i new just about as much about complex logic as my camp counsler who is a copiter science major. Anyways, what I want to say is EVERYONE WHO HAS UNLOCKED THE POTENTIAL OF REDSTONE SHOULD POST THERE JOIRNEYS AND KNOWLEDGE ON THIS THREAD. Lets spread the knowledge, and get jeb and notch to know about the simplest logic system out there, but with easy accessability to young people, and with great potential
