Oh my god, everyone who's not contributing, GET OUT.
One second, thinking of ideas.
*EDIT*
So, the first thing I thought of was my own tablet; a Dell Venue 7. However, it has quite a bit of flaws with it (like my Alienware). I still like it though; they work good enough for me (like my Alienware). Anyways, if you're the kind that's not fussy and want a pretty nice-looking and decent tablet for a decent price, I highly recommend it. Plays Asphalt 8, yo. Pretty good at it too.
But just be careful of the considerably bad durability of Dell products. If you stress them (in my tablet's case, QQ and Imgur at the same time is far more uncomfortable than using NOS and making epic backflips at at least 20 FPS in Asphalt 8)...they eventually clog up and start getting (RAM?) crashes. For example, there has been many times where my tablet flashed like hell and crashed, reset my wallpaper back to default (making me go to the wallpaper app to set it again), or just downright crash with a glowing Dell logo. Not funny when I was in the middle of talking to someone.
Maybe it won't happen to you, though. Probably won't.
And my Alienware has been recently getting Windows Explorer crashes. All my windows would just not respond to any input, and I have to spam-click on the taskbar so that Windows will get the drift and restart Explorer immediately. It's been happening less lately, though. But still around sometimes. idk why.
So, yes. Consider the Dell Venue 7 for a decent tablet at a pretty price. And it looks really sleek and awesome (yay for matte back and black exterior).
The second thing I thought of was the Nvidia Shield.
If you have room for a new tablet, don't have much of a budget limit, then you should probably impress all your peers with something people rarely have. I would "ooooooooooooo" at that. And I'm interested in hearing how it's like. Also, gaming.

*EDIT 2* By the way...The Venue 7 is praised for a mostly vanilla interface. It's not purely vanilla, though, and it seems to still stick behind Kitkat. But yeah, expect essentially a Google launcher with a Google settings screen, except with some tiny changes (nothing to do with colour or appearance...something just feels a tiny bit different than vanilla Google, like one extra added setting or something).
So if you abhor custom manufacturer UIs...*wink*.

I have a Nexus 7 and I like it. I'd suggest that or one of the newer ones. Of course, mine broke for some reason, but I'm pretty sure that's my fault :p

NavbarryVerizon messed up and gave me a free tablet. What's your budget?
I don't really have a set amount to spend, so I'm just gonna take all suggestions till I get a solid budget.

Also whats the budget for this tablet??

i would get this tablet http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Galaxy-10 ... laxy+tab+4 i owned a asus tablet and a samsung galaxy s tablet and i find this one is better.

I would get the Nexus 9 or 7. 9 is Google's latest tablet, runs Android 5.0 Lollipop, and since its google, it will get updates to Android first and usually very quickly.
7 is cheaper and older, but still a good tablet.
I have the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4. Its a decent tablet, but I really dont like TouchWiz, so I would get a Nexus device. Stay away from iPads, runs iOS, you are locked down to what only apple will let you do, but Android is more open and free.

On a more serious note, I suggest the Galaxy Tab S. It has pretty good specs and a very high quality display.

Only $6 for a tablet! Wow!

I highly recommend from experience an ASUS MeMo Pad 7/8.
It's really fast with it having a 4-core Intel processor.
It's 1280x800 res, which is HD.
A GB of ram, a front/rear camera.
And only costs around $150.

Get an iPad. Problem solved. iPad 3 is fine, none of this mini or air junk.
1
iPad's are not that good. In terms of hardware they are alright but for software you have to get an app for everything and its pretty limiting.
