force update, nuff said.
if you mean while trying to open the program delete minecraft. and start minecraft

It happens when I try to open it. Not when I log in. I can't force update -_-

It used to work

I played 1.3 once and now I can't

First, download a 1.3 jar file. Next, press windows button+r and type %appdata% and go t .minecraft bin, delete the jar and drag the new one in. Make aback up first though!
